Did anyone notice the 3rd down pass to Coles at the end of the game?

Anyone who taped the game or has Tivo see that Coles jumped the snap and not one official on the field noticed it?. I have to say this year the officiating has been at its worst. The pass interference calls..the blows to the QB heads which get called for roughing the passer and the absolute indecision they show everytime they throw a flag.
Can someone also tell me how the Jets declined the penalty in the 2nd Qrtr and the Dolphins brought Mare on for a fieldgoal...then the Jets changed thier minds and the refs then enforced the penalty...I have never seen anything like that before!?!

Most refs suck. Not all though. I watched a ref let a player coax him into calling a pass interefrence against the 49ers today too. Since when do players call the game? Lame.

Howard was all over the reciever at the end but unless he had a rocket up his behind it was uncatchable, I saw a few holds that werent called. I really thought it was pretty bad today. I love the comment the announcer said when he said that the game should not hinge on a call by the ref.

what i still don't understand is on that one sack on Frerotte where the guy who sacked him afterwards kneeled over Frerotte yelling something, and waving his hands in Frerotte's face and that was not a taunting call, but the Mcmike call a few games ago was called just for simply sticking the ball out before he scored a TD?????????

well that was the play where sam madison had some hardcore PI on Coles, so it evened out... both no-calls, no completion.

i was more upset with that BS PI call on Howard....

i agree....

we rehashed this in the thread - apparently the guy that sacked frerotte didn't get called for taunting because he didn't have the ball.... McMike did.

only the ball carrier can get called for "taunting".
otherwise they call "unsportsmanlike conduct".... which IMO that WAS, but was not called.

I have seen at least 4 other games since the McMichael call, where the player stuck the ball out at the defender while scoring and not one was flagged........
