Damn, all the teams that were supposed to lose for us, won! I'm wondering, besides Monday nights game, did we gain any ground to other teams at all? And also, I noticed something, correct me if I'm wrong, lets say that the Bengals and Chiefs win out, and lets say we also win out(yes i know, but im just saying for the sake of the agreement), does that mean we miss out on the playoffs at 12-4?! We do not control our own destiny I believe.

We're in 6th place for the playoffs...I would say that means we gained ground.

We gained ground because Cleveland lost. We control our own destiny. If we win out we are guaranteed the #6 seed.
This is because Cincinnati plays Denver. If we both win out we take Denvers spot.

At 12-4 that means we sweep Nee England, and the Jets if the Pats lost another one we are divisions champs.

We were in the 10th position before yesterday. We are now 6th. Did make up ground.

And there is no chance in hell the Bengals win out. I fully expect them to miss the playoffs. The AFC North will sort itself out. They were extremely fortunate to play a woeful NFC South and a bad AFC South.

Having the 6th seed with a record of 12-4 while being good for Miami would also be awful considering 12-4 should get you the division or even a bye week.

We have to get to 10 wins. Which means beat Broncos or NE. Both on the road.

or beat baltimore, jets twice and minny

Holy ****, I forgot about Baltimore.

Wow I feel a little better now

We play the Broncos, Ravens, and Jets before the Pats game. While the Pats play Green Bay, Lions, and Chargers if they stumble once while we take care of business then the Pats game is for first place in the division.

Technically yes. But there are off years.
Usually a 12-4 or 11-5 should give you the division. But in 2008 12-4 meant a wild card spot and 11-5 Baltimore just barely got in over 11-5 NE. And NE stayed home.

New England is going to lose in Green Bay. I'd be surprised if they lost to the Lions or Chargers though.

Thanks for the correction guys! I checked CBS standings, I guess they didn't change it in time. Thanks!
