Did Larry Johnson make the team last night?

I pass on Larry Johnson. Still rather see Grigsby--more versatility and big play potential. What about that RB from KY that got waived from Philidelphia?

Hopefully he makes the team. I love grandmama on madden 12 he's a monster. Him + Reggie in the wildcat is insane.

Outside of that run he didn't do much. Still looks rusty out there to me. He was tenative behind the line on some runs and tap danced back there.

1 carry for 22 yards and a TD and then the remaining 9 carries he picked up 17 yards. Grigsby won't make the team and he only had 8 carries for 17 yards but he ran harder than Thomas and Johnson IMO.

Rusty? You don't say? You might be right. With all the carries he's had the last couple of years he should've looked refined.

He had a good run but not much else. I dont think there is any tread on those tires I think there more like racing slicks IMO.

While I consider that running game a weak link currently I would still cut Larry Johnson we need more than what he has left IMO. As one poster said earlier he had one good run and after that did not do much. He needed to do more to insure his spot. These guys usually go after youth over veteran too.

Try another perspective- it was also the best run of the night.

Not sure if he makes it. It was a nice run, but was basically a product of a Dallas defender getting turned inside and out of position more than anything LJ did. Personally I'd rather see LJ get cut in favor of a younger guy like Bell from the Saints. I certainly wouldn't take Grigsby over LJ, but there will be some decent runners coming available.

The second replay with the camera facing him showed how fluent he still is, how aware of his space. His eyes were darting side to side. He made a great cut back to avoid a defender. 2 shoe string attempts didn't even make him stumble an inch. He was patient and let the play develope. The run looked natural, and calm, and effortless.

Daniel Thomas doesn't even have the good sense to stay behind his blocker. Hopefully, that'll come with more experience. IMO, it should be a natural instinct to hide behind one of your monsters when an opposing one is closing in. Thomas did start bulldozing late. Hope to see lot's more of the bulldozer.

up until that point daniel thomas had been rushing with authority. i wish they handed it to him and he had scored the TD. as it stands, i still don't see LJ making the final 53, but i would really like to see some veteran runner on the roster for depth.

As it stands, I'm not saying that's what we drafted (it's only been 4 games for the love of)... but as it satnds, Daniel Thomas couldn't find the endzone in broad daylight with a tom-tom and a maglight when it comes to goaline.

What do you think the coaching staff saw that brought Larry Johnson (Who?), Larry Johnson (Larry Johnson? Larry Johnson?), Kansas City Chiefs (no shi...!)? Yeah, guy had a knack for the endzone (understatement) so cross your fingers (I thought that guy was dead yo).

No applause needed for the one man, dissociative identity disorder show.
