Just read the ESPN preview for 2011. The finally section stated:

The Dolphins struggled rushing the ball up the middle last season, but it didn't stop them from trying. Last year, Miami had the fifth-most rush attempts up the middle (247), but its 3.5 yards-per-attempt average was tied for 27th in the NFL. Miami acquired RB Daniel Thomas, drafted offensive lineman Mike Pouncey and signed center Shaun O'Hara to beef up their interior running game.

Did I miss something or does ESPN just not even bother fact checking anymore????

BTW- 4 out of 5 "experts" picked us 3rd in division and one guy picks us 2nd!! Peter king would disagree.

This is why I put no creedence into ESPN. We didnt sign O'Hara yest

Other then simple experience, O'Hara would not be an upgrade from what we already have in place. People also forget'O'Hara could not pass a physical when he visited Miami. Soooooooooooooooo, whats that tell you.

Maybe this is acknowledging a handshake agreement to sign after the first week, once contracts no longer guaranteed.
I'm sure there would've been a thread about it on here had O'Hara been signed

IF they are going to sign one and IF he is at reasonable cost and IF he even wants to play here, the best choice would be Gurode, not O'Hara. Lots of IFs there folks.

No but he would cause other upgrades on the line by moving Pouncey (I would assume to one of the gaurd spots and CArey back to RT, thus moving Craplumbo hopefully off the team.

Pouncey isn't moving...he's a Center and could be our Center for 10 years...if he struggles a little this year then so be it he will be better next year.

Not that I really care about signing O'Hara but isn't this the same medical staff that didn't think Brees was healthy enough to sign?

He could not pass a physical at the Giants either. Thats why he was not resigned. You know when teams have a question mark on a player, regradless of what that question is, they will let the player shop himself around to see what his value truely is. Giants have David Bass now as their starting center. Younger, stronger and moves the pile or point of attack as good as O'Hara did.

Pouncey played guard next to his brother all his life except for last year with the Gators.

this may be true, but the dude has the athletic ability to play center and play it very well. He is also very football smart. He is playing Center and has not moved. Sparano has said (u prob dissagree but who cares?) he is not moving people areound this year. Which is what everyone's main ***** has been with Sparano. So now you and others want to move Pouncey? Aint hapnin.

The guy I would want is Leonard Davis. He plays G and T. Then you only move the parts that arent working.

But I got a funny feeling like we are going with what we have and that is because what they are doing practice with backups may be showing promise with say Ray Willis (who has been invisible.) We just do not know because they are hiding everything from media.

Bottom line: Sparano aint movin nobody and I dont think Ohara will be coming in and if he does it is not to move Pouncey.
