One week and a half before the season starts and some want to sign a new center, move our center to LG, move our LG to RG and move the guy playing LT in pre season to RT or move our RG to RT and our starting LT has not banged heads since the last game of last season. LMAO, this would surely get Tony fired if he even attempted to do it.

solution somewhere in the middle
This is his 4th year and all I see is an offensive line
with a pro bowl left tackle and rookie center after 4 years
and this is it...

For now i agree, but i would look for Chisolm to throw a wrench into that by the end of the season and be our LG in rotation at least. Especially if we are out of the hunt and are looking towards the following season to see what we have.
And dont be surprised if Murtha is at RT at some point during the season.

Simple solution without having to sign anyone.. My biggest accomplishment with this assessment is to get rid of Columbo off the line. Obviously Jake is cemented at LT, Incognito at LG is nice, now as far as center goes we place Joe Berger back in the center position slide Mike Pouncey over to RG where he played basically all his college career minus his senior season when brother Maurkice was drafted and move Carey back to his rightful position and POOF! I for one dont mind Berger playing center for us this YEAR as i would rather have him rather than crapumbo on our line. If i recall Berger wasnt that bad for us last year when we put him in there he had a pretty decent year i might say. Just my 2 cents
Did you actually pay attention to last season ? Or just hammer on the keys when you were mad ? Only reason Oline was shuffled around during the season was due to injuries. No one, not even the great Bill Cowher has any say over who gets injured.

You are looking at the potential replacement for Carey at RG in 2012, maybe mid 2011 if Vernon keeps stinking it up.
Told all of you a month ago. VERNON CAREY has left the building. You do not cut contracts and void years left on a contract if a player is a good one. Even the article stated Carey took the cut in pay and the voided contract in lieu of being cut. He is not stupid, nobody would have paid him close to even the reduced amount he is receiving. VERNON HAS LEFT THE BUILDING.

last i saw ohara had a great workout with the finz but left without a deal as HE wanted to wait and see what else would come about. he prefers to play center and wanted to see if a team would be needing a center by the start of the season.
giants let him go because the young kid they have has come along real well and that trumps old age and PREVIOUS injuries.
