Yes, because this is how rich people get rich. They buy
a franchise at high value and purposely drive down the value of
it.

Jimmany christmans these posts.....

He is not looking to sell the team this offseason. He isnt diminishing the value of the franchise by doing this, because this is a longterm strategy to get a franchise QB and a new HC.

well his strategy kind of has alot of holes esp since the coach he wanted turned him down.

if he did this he is a very smart guy, like me.

he knows drafts are overrated, except when the draft is rich in skill playmaking positions like next years draft which has the best prospect in sports in 15 years, aka Luck.

Therefore tanking the season on purpose seems great. What i dont understand is the signing of rosenfields, hopefully he totally sucks and we can go 1-15 and draft luck.

When drafts are used in cornfed lineman with a 80s phislosphy ond lame running the ball, run defense and crap like that, well.. 2011 dolphins.

Lets not forget Parcells wanted marcus spears over demarcus ware people.

Her had plenty of time still to decide , giving sparano an extension was the worst possible move and it gained us nothing because people know Sparano was a dead man walking and still is

it wasnt necessarily the worst possible move. if it nets us andrew luck it was a great move perhaps. he didnt get harbaugh, there was a lockout looming, and perhaps he felt highly enough of ireland and comfortable enough with ireland that he wasnt willing to turnover the front office to a head coach as a knee jerk reaction. perhaps peterson suggested he let it ride another year and see if henne showed any progress as well. its not necessarily a poor move if he didnt like the other options available to him at the time. if we end up with a good head coach, and a high 1st round pick, combined with the fact we found a starting center, and perhaps a stud at running back - then it actually would have turned out well
