He passed the ball more and got to his average due to his sample size.

Hard to argue that he didn't improve. The biggest sign of improvement are the 4th quarter comebacks and game-winning drives. In 2012, he rarely was able to get the Dolphins in winning positions late in games. This year, I give him credit for pulling out some nice wins late...vs. Atlanta, New England, the game-tying drive vs. Cincy, the late TD drive vs. Pittsburgh.

It doesn't necessarily show up in stats like yardage & TDs & turnovers, but he clearly showed he could lead a team to a win late in the game. That's the sign of a pretty good NFL QB.

He still need to improve, needs to cut down on turnovers, and can't put up terrible performances like he did against Buffalo & the Jets to end the season...when the playoffs are on the line.

How many threads are we going to have about this? On one hand we had Wallace17Miami make a similar post to try and discredit Tannehill as he does everytime he makes a comment.

Of course he improved. I don't see how it can even be argued.

He definitely improved. I still believe in Tannehill, but I want to see what he can do without playing under Sherman. I believe he needs to graduate from Sherman into the NFL. No more go, go's, no more quasi-roboticness. He showed me some great play this year, and then he showed me some really ****ty unconfident play. I'm willing to give Tannehill 4 years to show his worth, barring an epic collapse next season. Next season he has to show that he truly deserves to be called a franchise QB. More runs, better down field throws, better pocket awareness. He needs to loosen up back there. I like how he reads defenses at the line considering he has only had 2 full seasons in the NFL. His potential has yet been fully tapped and he is still 25.

Didn't say the Buffalo loss was Tannehill's fault, but he certainly didn't do anything to help Miami win the game.

Did anyone else do anything? Sorry 10
Yards rushing, oline allowing pressures every play, Hartline
Drops 20000 passes.

we had no rush attack. zero rush attack.
we had very inconsistent pass pro... and that beign pretty nice...

he had to put the offense on his back and damn near single handedly do it all. hence the 100 or so extra pass attempts.

yes he improved.

Even Stevie Wonder could see he improved. Some just want to make TAnnehill the scapegoat while ignoring one of the worst olines in dolphin history as well as the regression on defense

Watch the tape. Tannehill wasn't stepping into his throws properly Sunday. Moore should have been playing because Tannehill was favoring the injured leg to the point of ineffectiveness. The Jets game was not indicative of how Tannehill had been playing. But that doesn't match the simpletons' narrative that he sucks.

Give Tannehill any semblance of an offensive line and give him a league average running game and he will continue his ascension into being a quality quarterback who you can win with.

Barely improved. One win- that's how much better he was.

At this pace, we will be back in the playoffs in 2 years and might win the division the year after Brady retires. I'm so excited!

Get over Tannehill. Draft a second/third rounder and hope to find talent. If that doesn't work and RT isn't improving, draft a first round QB. Mediocre QBs lead mediocre teams.
