Did Smith cover Holmes all day? If not who did? Did the corners just stay on their side of the field and cover whatever receiver lined up on their side?

It seemed like they didnt really throw the ball to Smiths side or guy. I can only recall like 3 passes going his way and i believe he broke up one pass and one of them was a pass interference call.

Holmes only had one catch for 5 yards.

Hines Ward had the best day with 8 catches for 61 yards and if you take away the one deep 54 yd pass where N. Jones got ran into by a LBer and Mike Wallace only has one catch for 10 yards.

Once again another TE beat us.

Sean Smith did a decent job against Andre Johnson last week and i was just curious if he was mainly covering Holmes today...

Yes he did. I was watching that match-up all day and he was shutting him DOWN! I dont know what got into him today because he was playing like a new man.

maybe all the people talkin **** to him on twitter got under his skin and he stepped his game up

He will be a LOCKDOWN CB in this league. Holmes only had 1 catch & that wasn't even PI. it was a great play by Smith.

He's been shutting down his opponent for a while, his pass coverage isn't the problem it's the tackling.
