Implemeting a very conservative and bland game plan the last two weeks against weaker teams ie. Seattle and Oakland thereby allowing them to "save" a few new and interesting wrinkles for the NE game ala the wildcat that was initially unveiled week 3 against NE. Do you think is the plan or am I just overly optimistic?

i think they are going to have ricky throw from the wildcat against the pats.

I think youre onto something. I thought about it two weeks ago and wasnt shocked to not see anything new out of the wildcat. The one new thing we did see was Ricky take the direct snap where Ronnie would usually be. And like the 2nd post says, perhaps this is just to get Ricky comfy with taking a snap in live game action so he can do something different out of the formation. A Ricky throw could be in order.

Also, I forget which player was being interviewed, but I read a clip from one of the players a few weeks back talking about we still have several more plays in the arsenal that havent been unleashed. I fully expect something new in this game and perhaps in our other 2 divisional games.

i sure hope that's been the plan...i'd love nothing more than for us to completely destroy them, though it maybe closer than that,i sure hope we destroy them....

Yeah, if you look closely after that 1st touchdown drive everything that we ran was the bare bone minimum. I havent seen those shifts/formations since weeks 1 and 2 for the most part.

And they should be compremended on that. I mean why show somthing when you dont haveto?

All I know is my teacher is the biggest pats fan.. and I'm a big fins fan.. imagine how that goes lol

Did they implement a conservative game plan to save something for the Pats? I don't think so. You can't say, the only game that matters is the one at hand then save your best plays for a later game. I do think they'll create new wrinkels to exploit the Pats weaknesses but I think they played conservatively because they thought it gave them the best chance to win.

That is what they are doing. You dont let your Div see your whole arsenal.
We win regardless. I think that we will have a few wrinkles this week.
Lets go get a win.

I'd thought about this a little, the other thing that runs through my mind even though none of us wanted it to happen was that perhaps they really were thinking ahead, because after two 2 pt victories against bad teams, it sure didn't seem like they had their head in those games.

I don't want to be too optomistic but I just have this gut feeling like we are going to break out some huge innovative play calling Sunday, and the Pats will too, and we are just gonna throw them off enough to squeak it out, effictively ending their playoff run...and it is gonna be so sweet.

Yes the coaches are doing a great job setting up for this game but not for why you are stating.

We used a new form of blocking schemes in our wildcat formation in the seattle game.

We have been running a vannilla offense but we have keying on lesser used guys.

We gave the Pats new blocking scheme looks from us to prepare for. Other then that we gave them no new plays to look at but we did show our confidence in different players so now they got to study those guys too, not knowing who we are going to be keying on to make the big plays for us.

dude, you are 3 for 3 in my book tonight...we are definitely getting a few more lesser used guys involved, and they're producing...i look for some new wrinkles to be unveiled and put a hurting on the Pats...

I want to see ronnie handoff to teddy let him run like he is going to sweep and throw a bomb to penny in the endzone. thats the play I want to see them embarass the patriots with sunday.
