Did the Dolphins cheat to beat Patriots?????????

As a old-timer,I still remember the snow plow game...
so who cares...

The only states that voted the majority yes, were Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Massachusetts voted 51% yes and New Hampshire voted 57% yes. What a bunch of homers.

76% of the total vote have voted no.

This shouldn't even be an issue, the fact that 24% of the people that voted.......voted yes tells there are a lot of people out there that aren't very well informed. This has been going on a long time; it's a non issue.

I don't believe we cheated its just amazing to me that they would make it their poll. LOL

If you're not cheatin, you're not tryin. But cheating would have been picking up the call as it goes to Brady's helmet, not watching game film with audio.

I may be a young one, but I heard about the Snow Plow game.... :nono:

But honestly, that wasn't cheating. If Saban switched shoes with Bellichick, Bellichick would have been considered a freaking genius.

The topic is just blatant disrespect for the dolphins. Basically what some people and the media are saying is the dolphins are not good enough to beat the pats so they must have cheated. That's total BS. We always give brady hell. Anyone who knows football could tell you that.:fire:

If only the elections would have turned out that way!!!!

What's the snow plow game? Any links to information?

Back in the Shula days, the Dolphins went up against the Patriots. It was so snowy it was practically impossible to kick a field goal. Unfortunately for us, when the Pats lined up for the game winning kick, they decided to snowplow the place they were attempting the kick from, giving them an advantage that we didn't get.

Snow plow game was on December 12, 1982, at New England. I have seen tape on it from my father, and he swears that it was a bunch of bologna.

Apparently, the head coach of the Pats at the time (Ron Meyer) ordered a snow plow to clear out a spot for their kicker to kick a field goal. A blizzard was about that day which rendered the teams scoreless up to that point. The Patsies ended up winning the game 3-0.

Since then, the use of snow plows for that has been banned.

(ON ANOTHER NOTE!)

This issue about game tape is beginning to tick me off. The Brady comment about "them being 6-7 and we're 9-4" is BS. A little tasteless if you ask me. The guy has the right to be PO'd, but to point out standings is a little kindergarten-ish if you ask me. I am glad he ate dirt all day. I wish nothing but the worst (sans injury) for the Patsies. Unprofessional, indeed....

Signature moment: During "The Snow Plow Game" in 1982, played in blizzard conditions at the Patriots' home in Foxborough, Massachusetts, a work release prisoner drove a plow onto the field during a timeout late in the game to create a clean area for a field goal kick, leading to the only score in a 3-0 Patriots win. Dolphins coach Don Shula later convinced the NFL Rules Committee to ban such home field advantages

I remember watching this game with my Dad and we both were like WTF. Heck I was only 8 years old and knew that it was screwed up. :tantrum:

LMAO Only 19% of voters said yes and guess where they live?

Anyway Several Analysts have said no we didn't cheat and now the higher ups have said no we didn't cheat, case closed.

The Brady comment about "them being 6-7 and we're 9-4" is BS.

He should learn a thing or two from Billichick, he gave us props.
