Although it's not like that team has had a lot of talent and a QB.
 
I wonder if Philbin might be interested?? I would trade them Philbin for Mack.
 
The players were playing to give Sparano a second chance
 
Now I"m sure the conversation is gonna shift to Philbin being the worst HC in the league - but if Sparano takes over, they'd be wrong although a case can be made that he's up there also. However yesterday just confirms my unpopular opinion that as Cowher's players and philosophies drift away, despite the awards, in the here and now for the last few years, Mike Tomlin should be in that conversation as well.

Winning 22 percent of the games he coached probably contributed as much as anything.
 
Allen looks like a high school freshman. However hired him should step away from the team.
 
Al Davis and Hue Jackson got Dennis Allen fired, with a nod to Reggie McKenzie and... Dennis Allen.

I'll give Allen credit. He has huge cojones to have accepted that job, with the talent level on that team as dismal as it has been for the past 3 years and knowing that there was almost no chance he could turn it around in time to save his job.

But we didn't get him fired. An 8-28 record got him fired.
 
Allen got himself fired... he was pretty awful.
 
I would have fired every coach and the entire trainer staff after they let Carr walk off by himself. There was one player who gave the poor guy a pat - a Dolphins player. This was such a disgrace. And if I am Carr I'd request a trade.
