Did they? Mario Williams was a beast til last year due to injury. Soliai is a good DT but is he a great one? I think we should of gone after Mario Williams also I mean the guy is so darn big.

Heh. I think there's a small difference in price to consider. $50 mil guaranteed. Mario is obviously the better player. We couldn't afford and of course Ireland can't be bothered to recruit anyone worthwhile.

I've noticed Ireland doesn't do too well with ***ency or the draft.

Why would we overpay for someone who has declined every year since his rookie campaign and also is injury prone the last thru years. Stop drinking bills fan kool-aid

One thing too we just dont have the money to compete with that contract. I cant fault us for not paying that money.

The bills over paid for him. Good move by Ireland not to go after him. It's going to be fun watching jake long rough him up a bit next season.

If the Dolphins sign Mario WIlliams at the price the Bills just paid they have no money to sign anyone else including rookies.

No way we could match a contract that is $96 million dollars with $50 million of it guaranteed.

We got Soliai for $12 million and $6 million guaranteed. We got Soliai for peanuts compared to Williams.

Right. The money is nowhere close to being comparable.

Shoot, we can have 3 high quality dlinemen for the price of Super Mario. Can't believe we got Solia so cheap quite honestly. I thought he was going to get 8-9 mill/year offers. That's a no brainer as long as he stays away from the chow line.
