did the pats get caught cheating vs the steeers this year?

getting in my car this afternoon i heard the end of a conversation from the guy, saying, "they (the pats)got caught again AFTER the jets game against the steelers".

i've looked everywhere to confirm that but have seen nothing. has anyone else heard anything?

I heard there was some form of illegal taping in on October 31, 2004 vs. the Steelers. Anything you hear is probably true, it's now confirmed that they've been taping since 2000 when Belichick arrived.

Fat lot of good it did them. The Pats got steamrolled against the Steelers in that game. However, I would not doubt that what they acquired against the Steelers in that earlier game helped them turn the tables against them in the AFC Championship much as I would not doubt what they acquired against the Colts in Week 1 helped them beat them in the playoffs.

I can see Belicheat cheating,i really can....look at his coaching record when he was coaching Cleveland,1 winning season,the rest were losing to mediocre at best. his first year coaching N.E. he goes 5-11,then all of a sudden his IQ jumps 100 points and N.E. starts winning games and SBs,i'm not buying it that he's that good of a coach....HELL NO!!!!!!

That's what I'm wondering. I'm wondering why ANY assistants who have access to the storehouse of information the Pats* accumulated over the last 7 years still has a job.

This is a SERIOUS issue that has affected fair competition over the last 7 years. Who wants to play against that kind of crap. As long as that crew is in place, everyone will always wonder whether they're cheating. Further, would anyone be even mildly surprised if the Pats engaged in other illicit schemes to gain a competitive advantage that we don't even known about? They could have been intercepting audio signals, taping walk throughs ...

The entire cadre up there must to be ousted for the integrity of the game.

this is really sick
the whole run from 2000-2007 is tainted and they should forfeit every superbowl they won
that is the only way to make an example of a team, giving up a first round pick(and they still have a top 10 pick, go figure) for 3 superbowl trophies is nothing

in college people and teams get trophies taken away, wins taken off the books for stuff that happens off the field, it is time for the NFL to do the same

the second thing is the evidence that goodell had, he destroyed it and was hoping that it would just go away and that the talking heads on tv would just praise the patriots and shrug this off all the while bashing the 72 dolphins and coach shula

i mean look at the info that goodell is now giving about what evidence there was that for some reason was destroyed, and the only reason why it is coming out is because congress has his feet to the fire

the patriots need to pay, if this was any other team i would be just as pissed
