Seems to me like the referees had money on the Saints and their spread.

1) Sharper DID fumble into the endzone on that interception that Ted Ginn caused.

2) Right before halftime ONLY 5 SECONDS LEFT, the receiver's knee was DOWN before the endzone but the refs called a TD, giving them a score. We had to challenge it and all of this stopped the clock. If the refs make the OBVIOUS CORRECT CALL, the player is down, and the 5 seconds runs out and we go into halftime up 24-3.

3) Camarillo's penalty in our final drive. That wasn't a forward pass. He didn't throw it AHEAD of him, he threw it SIDEWAY's. Can't that also be interpreted as a LATERAL PASS which is completely legal? What a bogus call.

4) Then in the same drive, the Dolphins spike the ball with 1 second left. Suddenly, referees want to end the game and come up with a mysterious motion penalty and end the game for us without giving us a chance to score a final TD.

5) The fumble right before the half. Bess was down....it was clear. It just seems like the refs were playing against us. Felt like they didn't want the Fins to screw with the spread.

Yeah you might be right. Either that or they are just blind and clueless. Either way they should not be working in the NFL.

they did call colston down then that idiot sparano called to and brees scored on a keeper.

on the sharper there was no irrefutable evidence to reverse the TD call.

yep the refs had $ on it

Coulda sworn I saw the linesman pull a Fleur De Lis out of his *** at one point.

You don"t mention The game changing call. The fumble right before the half. I watched the game in a bar with no sound so I didn't hear the explaination but it looked like the knee was down.

Yes they had money on this game and they had money on Machida fight against Rua last night

What about Bess's knee being on the ground when they ruled it a fumble before the half?....what were they looking at when they reviewed that play? His knee was down before the ball came out. I guess they rule it an illegal forward pass if a receiver intentionally tries to fumble it out of bounds? I never seen that call before. Two bad calls cost us 14 points but when you play not to lose you usually end up giving the game away...just like we did against the Colts.

Yes, 1st half they played to win, 2nd half they played not to lose.

can cry about the refs all you guys want but playcalling left something to be desired great in the first half horrible in the 2nd half

The problem in benching Ginn is we lose all speed at the WR position. Hartline, Camarillo, and Bess lack any real speed. Not much to worry about as opposing D's

As for the calls:

1. Not enough evidence.
2. I didn't even realize the correct call would have made a time difference. But that's too hard to call in real time, and didn't the Saints have a time out?
3. I'm more pissed that they think Camarillo was even trying to throw it forward, it looked as much like he was trying to stretch for out of bounds and it slipped out. What a subjective call. BS.
4. Eh, it wouldn't have mattered.
5. I agree Bess was down, bad call.

Of course, you conveniently neglect to mention the "non-functioning" replay equipment on the Saints challenge.

Never mind the huge hold on Vilma that wasn't called on RW's long TD run.

You're really complaining about a very close call that ultimately was called correctly upon review?

Please. There were calls and no-calls that were questionable, but they went both ways.
