man i really can't belive that we gave up a 3rd rd pick for gordon and we could not get anything in return.was it cause our front office does not know how to wheel and deal or was it that we got burned that bad i mean jeeeeez.our front office must have been terrible cause none of these guys that we gave pretty high draft picks for have panned out gordon,aj makes me wonder if anyone would even be interseted in a trade for aj.

Yeah man, I'll say we sure did get screwed. At least it wasn't the Eagles who did it to us like they did with Feeley.

the eagles made out pretty good a high 2nd round pick & lamar gordan for feely

Apples and Oranges. Running backs are not getting long term contracts... ex. Alexander and James, who both showed an interest in coming to Miami in the off season.

Quarterbacks, on the other hand have more of a chance to get traded for some value.

If you'll remember, we were in dire straits for a running back last year... so we paid an unusualy heavy price to get Gordon.

I think AJ was a reasoned gamble that got caught in coaching changes.

AJ is probably still on the squad because of his talent, and possible trade value to a west coast offense, such as Detroit.

I also have a feeling that if he is not traded by our off week, and hasn't shown improvement, that we may have a new 3rd string quarterback by the name of Tim Couch.

I dont think anybody would trade for Feeley to be honest. He's not that "young" either..27 I beleive. I think he'll be out of this league soon enough.

Watching him play in the Atlanta game, it's hard to disagree with you.

He has shown toughness, and could still make it in the right setting.

No the Falcons got screwed, 10 mil signing bonus and no production..for Price, that's priceless, now Dallas reunited him with Drew.

no not really, price was just in a very bad system. i'd take price and his 10mil signing bonus and what he gave them than giving up a 3rd for gordon for 1 games work.

Dude, last year Wannstupid and Co. were grasping for straws as they knew that they were in for it.

Just be glad their reign of terror is over and think of the future and not the past or else you'll go crazy...:goof:

Let's see, 3rd round. It was either trade for Gordon or draft the next Taylor Whitley.
