It seems like that contract would have been a good one for us to sign if he would have taken it. I do think he was asking more when Miami backed out but he overplayed his hand. It also tells me that Carolina WAY overpaid for DeAngelo.

It is obvious that Bradshaw had no intention of signing with the Phins. He was using us as leverage to drive the Giant's price up. I am glad we ended his game, and he got the lower contract that he deserved for playing games with us.

Hands down, I would have loved to have him here. I would have paid more than that for him. Daniel Thomas or no Daniel Thomas, Bradshaw is a proven RB in the NFL. Thomas could be good or he could turn into just an average RB. I watched Thomas play alot in college and when I watch him run he reminds me a little of Chris Brown who played for the Titans. He was good for about 2 years and then injured because he ran too high. He had a short career in the NFL because of it. I hope I am wrong and Thomas turns into a stud!
Horse a piece. Bradshaw is better running back. Both are good pass catchers. Bush is an amazing punt returner and more explosive so about a wash
