Did we give up to soon on Chad Henne...?

Did you see what the Saints did to us?

Well, Ryan Tannehill had two second-quarter turnovers , including a fumble , that killed our momentum. Ryan Tannehill finished 22-for-35 for 249 yards, a touchdown and three interceptions. He also rushed for 48 yards on four carries, but was sacked four times.

The Saints Tannehill played against weren't the Saints Devlin played against. You can't be this insane.

Pre season and regular season games can't even be compared, my God man where do you come up with this stuff?

I'm actually starting to believe all this huff and fluff the OP is starting, is to stir the pot. Either that or he's a she, a 12 yr old girl with a crush on Devlin.

The kid has not been given a chance to play. It's all I can use. I'm not saying he's the answer, but he appears to play good and smart when he's in there.

Like I've said in previous posts, if he struggles, bring in Moore or Devlin, this season is on the line.

If you miss the playoffs, what's the point of giving Tannehill anymore snaps.

If we lose against Pittsburgh, I hope we start Moore or Devlin to end the season.

This has been a real hard season to follow.

You don't understand sports, if you think they should just hand the starting job over if the season is over.

I can't possibly explain to you why this is a terrible idea, but take it from a former high level athlete and coach. It's the WORST decision you can make that that point.

So your only "proof" is his preseason performance vs. New Orleans in the last game of preseason. What about Ryan Tannehill throwing for 3 TDs and 0 INTs in his preseason games? Devlin didn't do that and he had more attempts.

Against scrubs I might add......

I'm not saying to hand the job over, but to play them to see what we will do next season. If we lose against Pittsburgh, our season is over. I have always supported Matt Moore and like Devlin.

I'm not gunna knock on Devlin I actually like the kid, but only as a backup. Nothing more nothing less. He's a poor mans Pennington/Fiedler.

Really?

No one could tell.

And yes you are asking them to hand the job over, but your request is out of ignorance.

They get playing time in preseason, which is what they deserve.

Say Miami loses on Sunday and they put Devlin in the last 3 games. Then say Devlin plays well. What does this prove to you?

He knows this yet he continue his ridiculous rant about Devlin.

If we lose this Sunday, we have nothing to lose to start Moore or Devlin and finish the season out.

I'd like to see how they perform with the starters. If they excel, then we have something to go by, if they fail, then we look in the draft or look for a trade.

If we lose this weekend, the season isn't over.

You're so misinformed it's sad.

So Miami gets to 6-7. Devlin gets put in. He isn't beating New England. The best he'd get to is 2-1 to finish the year and Miami to 8-8. This to you means they start him next year?

CAn't believe we're having this discussion. Tannehill hasn't struggled to score 17-20 points at any point. Henne did this seemingly every other start. Tannehill never threw the game away with picks in the 4th quarter. Henne lost multiple score leads doing this in the last couple minutes. Chad Henne never seemed to be able to effectively hit all the targets on the field, which was embarrasing when one of those was Brandon Marshall, and Tannehill is capable of getting 80-100 yards out of any of our top 4 receivers.

Ryan Tannehill also never had a losing streak some 8-10 games long, which is what Henne was on before he went out, and it took his team another month to recover from the pile of crap he had left them in. IF you really don't know the answer to this question still, look at Henne's stats of his last 10 starts and remember all the games he failed to win or straight up single handedly lost, then get back with me.
