I only ask because Parcells is the only person that gets mentioned around here, I just dont hear people in Atlanta saying what players that Rich MCKay likes and who he will start at QB. People are acting like Sparano and Ireland are just figureheads.
 
Parcells is the big name... thats who people will mention (media included).

Dont get too bent out of shape about it... its the nature of the beast. Thats what happens when you bring in a big name...
 
There are some of us that think they are figureheads.

Only time will tell. But you know Parcells hands are all over everything right now.
 
Really a silly question...of course you hear Parcells...he's the guy that hired them...he's the guy who taught them...they are his disciples.
 
Parcells will get all of the credit... and all of the blame...

Regardless of where either should really go...

Big name or not I think people are predicating too much on what Parcells may or may not do. Hopefully Sparano and Ireland have some ideas of thier own.
 
When I read this thread title, I was like about to say ......@#$%@#!@!@@$#$#%$^%^&^*^$#$#@%????
 
Even if Bill Parcells isn't running things, he put people in place that share his philosophy and who he trusts. I'm sure his opinion will be heard and valued by Ireland and Sparano.
 
Personally I believe Sparano is a puppet. A rookie head coach has to worry about a lot more than personnell decisions

Ireland not so much. I think Jeff is making decisions with Parcells.
 
Bill is a leader and these guys have new positions. I beleive he is helping set them up for success and taking initial pressure off them while letting them focus on other tasks in getting this team up to snuff...big mess they were left. I think that as time passes, we'll see more of the other guys as they get comfortable.
 
Having Bill is the best thing for a rookie HC and GM. These guys can do there jobs without to many questions right now. But come camp Sparano will be front and center. I just hope hes ready for prime time.
