He seems to be playing well back in Seattle's press cover defense.

ummm he was never going to comeback with that cap hit didn't fit our scheme.....

we just speeded up the process of the young corners. I don't see whats so wrong about that? + we get Lippet back next year .....

Not questioning that. He looked bad with us and good with them again.

He did get torched twice on Phillys TD drive, but he made a nice pick to seal the win. I thought he looked pretty good overall. I'm sure he likes being back up there.

He is a backup at best. The Dolphins can't afford to pay backup level players starting money. Their cap is already out of wack.

I mean he looked good down the stretch last year but he hasn't looked anything special with the Seahawks he got a int on a forced throw.

I defended him last year but talk about a guy who didn’t want to tackle...he got his fat contract and decided to just “hang out” on the field.

Yes. We misused him by placing him on the roster in the first place

He didn't look good. Did anybody watch the whole game? He did get the gift pick in the end and Collinsworth hyped him a little bit but I think our corners are very fine players.

No...we didn't misuse him. The only time he played well for a very short period is when he was benched and called out by the coaches....then played well for a short while.....finally ending up back to the mediocre to bad performances we have all gotten used to.

Good riddance. I like our young guys....

If more people watched the games....most of the threads on this forum would not get started.

I saw him actually stick his head down and make a tackle on Ajayi. Something he didn't do here.

He got caught flat footed on the late TD and was looking around for someone to blame. He fooled a lot of people around here.

Cool, What about the other stuff? Like giving up two TDs as you mentioned and that ridiculous prayer that Weintz threw and Maxwell's guy got it 40+ yards downfield?

Hell of a throw by Wentz. Like Al and Cris said, probably no way Maxwell thinks that's getting completed.

Ahhh Maxwell was the only reason Seattle didn't win by more than 14 points.

Maxwell, imo, was a player who gave effort some weeks and took other weeks off. Seattle can have him.

When he got the contract originally from the Eagles it was a HUGE surprise to *everyone* - literally news articles on espn and NFL.com wondering wtf it came from. So, just cause some moron gave him a contract, and another moron traded for him to take on his contract, doesn't mean he was ever worth the level of money he got. He's an OKAY #2 CB at best, and that time has probably come and gone.
