Did we trade our 3rd n 4th next year?

When we drafted Caroo (spl) did we trade our draft picks or was the picks contingent on us geeting comp picks for players lost.
It would really hurt if we lost a 3rf and 4th round pick early in those rounds.
 
Yep. Not gonna be a fun draft. I'm still on Tannehills train but we need to start winning plain and simple, the whole offense is struggling.

I'd like to see our first round pick go to LB, CB, and DE. Obviously depends on who is there but I think this next draft needs to be defense heavy. RB is also somewhere we need a legit talent at.

Too many needs, not enough picks. I'm game to draft a qb, but just can't justify it early with so many other needs
 
Yeah that's what getting Tannenbaumed is all about. We got Tannenbaumed!
 
and I have a feeling he will be here a few more years unless Ross sells.
 
Yes we traded them. There will be compensation for lost free agents, presumably a 3rd and 4th, but that doesn't negate how foolish that trade was.

I disagree on the condition that if "the guy" is there, and you have the option to take him then you pull the trigger. This is gonna require more than a 1 year/offseason rebuild, you have so many pieces needed and QB is one of them.

If Miami ends up with a Top 3 pick...taking a qb that high is justified by the record.
 
Really shortsighted on Tannenbaums part. However, I believe we will have comp picks for OV and LM and they should be in that 3-4th rd range
 
They're gone. Brutal move by TBum. And the compensation doesn't make it better. That's to inadequately address the major loss of talent in Lamar and Vernon. Not to cover up TBum's **** awful trades. That pos got so lucky that Tunsil dropped in miraculous circumstances or his offseason would have already immediately killed the franchise.
 
If you're in the market for a QB and the one you want is there to take, you take him. It's the most important position on the field.

I like Carroo but the trade was horrible and most likely unnecesary. How do you use 3 picks to draft a WR that at best would be a 4th this year and at best(if Still leaves)a 3rd next year? WR was the one position we were deep at and he takes a WR instead of a guard or a LB. I don't care if we get 2 comp picks(hoping for a 3rd and a 5th).....all that does it brings the total to 7 when it should be 9. Keep on mind we need two guards, two LB's, a DE, a TE plus a corner and maybe a QB too. tannebumb just loves to make a splash and by doing some is setting our team back yet another 5 years

The staff must watch the team with binoculars on bavkward.
One of the worst trades ever, and there had been many.
Ross is the problem. Sell the dam team!
Once he is gone, at least the stench in the air will clear a little.
 
That was such a bizarre trade. Was Caroo that highly thought of? Can't lie I had never even heard of him until his name was called and I felt like I knew 10 WRs or so in the draft

This is exactly what I said after the draft and people were pissed at me saying it was a good pick. Sorry but with 10 other pressing needs you don't draft a #4-5 WR, or even a #3 WR for that matter. We then took Grant on top of it. Absolute terrible pick even if he didnt trade up. Just like the Juwaun James trade up was. Sadly it will be near impossible to get Tbaum fired.
