Hear me out, I know alot of people aren't Tebow fans and doubt whether he can be a bonafide NFL QB; I agree with some of that. But he is a great red zone and goal line weapon as he showed scoring 6 TD's in Denver last year. We should have Henne run 20 to 20 and bring Tebow in to play QB in the Red Zone. They aren't using him in Denver; offer them Matt Moore-we don't need him. If he plays horrible, so what, we get closer to a great draft pick. If he plays great, we have a great weapon for next year.

Many people said this, including myself, who understood what Kyle Orton was. If we trade for anybody on Denver's QB roster it should have been Tebow. I disagree about giving up on Matt Moore though . . . he may end up starting next year. Tebow definitely brings a different dimension to the redzone offense for Miami. I'd keep him and Henne in the game, put him at FB and it gives you options . . . gives the defense more to think about which so help lessen the pressure that is being put on the OLine in those situations. Don't know what he would be worth, but I would have looked into this yesterday, and wayyyy before considering Kyle Orton. And to top it off, it could only help the attendance as Tebow is extremely popular, even in South Florida as many UF transplants live down here or are from here.

I would have no problem with the QB chart being Luck or Barkley - Moore - Tebow next season with Devlin on the PS.

Tebow has a one step forward drop back play action but if you have 2 quarterback you don´t have a quarterback. Henne´s problems would be diminished if Marshall would catch the bleeping ball...

I can't really see the point. Tebow may well be more adept at getting the ball in the end zone than Henne but I don't see him as a good full time starter. Getting him to be a situational player is overkill. Just save your money, save your draft picks, and get one guy who can do it all. Then Tebow becomes largely redundant

NO!

Tebow is nothing but a mirage... A redneck favorite. I'd rather start Matt Moore.

I understand the doubters, but I'm not meaning as your full time QB; I'm talking about a red zone threat. Let's face it-Matt Moore is not the answer. Hypothetically, if we could trade him to Denver for Tebow, then Tebow becomes your number two. If it works out, you can still draft Luck or whoever and Henne is your number two with Tebow your number three or perhaps he gains some trade value or you use him in special packages. If he sucks, so what? He leads us to a higher draft pick, we let him go and Henne becomes your number two next year and your new man takes over.

So you want to let Henne drive us down to the 20 and then pull him and put in Tim Tebow? What is he some sort of magical football fairy? Sprinkle some "Tebow Dust" inside the redzone and Marshall starts catching the TD passes he's been dropping, our o-line starts run-blocking and pass protecting and Reggie Bush starts blowing through holes between the takles?

I swear some people think Tim Tebow = Jesus Christ in pads and a jock strap, yet, he can't even beat out Kyle Orton. Of all the possible solutions to our issues, bringing in Tim freaking Tebow is about the most ridiculous one I've heard.

Definitely not as ridiculous as bringing in Kyle Orton . . . and I may sound like I'm all for bringing in Tebow, but its more to the fact of the question that the OP brings up . . . which is "Did we target the right QB on Denver's roster" . . . which IMO if we "had" to trade for a Denver QB, I would choose Tebow over Orton. Tebow has the intangibles any team would love in a young QB, you have to be patient with him . . . I mean it could pay off in 2015, but I wouldn't count him out of anything to be honest with you.

That being said, I'm not desperate for any of the QB's on Denvers roster, but if I had to choose one, it would be Tebow, definitely not Kyle Orton.

You have an O-line that can't block, put in a QB that has proven that he can elude the rush. You want a "winner", a QB that performs under pressure, there he is. Want to keep the defense guessing because they don't know what's coming with him, DT and Bush in the Backfield with Marshall, Hartline and Bess on the field. How do you defend that? This majority of this board seems to think Henne is part of the problem; well, let's see for sure. And don't say to use Matt Moore, because he has never shown himself to be a consistent winner.

I don't think I'd throw Tebow in inside the 20, but he wouldn't be bad to have on the roster in goal line situations. Having said the I think he would be nice to have on the roster, I don't think we should trade or give up anything to get him. Maybe a very low round pick but if we traded moore and henne goes down then tebow becomes our starter.

The only QB right now with more rushing yards than Chad Henne is Michael Vick. Henne has more rushing yards than Cam Newton, Chris Johnson, and Ricky Williams. Dude is ranked 15th in the league in yards per carry. Tim Tebow, magical as he is, is not going to improve much on that.

And Henne has shown he can do this over a career; more then two or three games right?

And Tebow has shown he can do this in how many NFL games?

Besides, the solution is not to bring in a QB to compensate for an under-performing O-Line; that's a recipe for injury. The solution is to fix the o-line. Can Tebow play RT? If so, I'd be all for it.

Did you see him play the end of last year for Denver? Did you watch him at all in Florida? Guy is a baller. Does his game translate to a traditional NFL QB? Maybe not, but he can definitely run from the QB position. Don't tell me your questioning this. There are no answers for the Line this year, so we gotta adapt
