Doesn't 25-23 Dolphins mean we WON????

Then what is up with all the crying threads in here???? I swear some of you should give up watching football. It's too much for you to comprehend!!

This isn't the BCS where margin of victory means a thing. I don't care if we squeak out a win every week, as long as we win.

Get a clue and grow up, people are right, we have among the least knowledgeable fans in the NFL and they ALL post here.

Learn football kids!!!

It's HOW you win. Tampa Bay is a bad football team. We should have pounded those goons easily. But we let them hang around and hang around until we could finally put them away in the final seconds of the game. I'll take a win any day of the week. But I can't make reasonable observations about things we did wrong yesterday and not complain about them?

That's how false belief begins and that's when the truly delusional get behind a keyboard. I can't be happy about what happened out there yesterday. I'll take the win, sure. But if some of you are going to take a win and think everything is all and well, then you have another thing coming. And that's why some of you thought we would beat the Saints and Patriots simply because we beat the Jets. The Jets are nothing special either and we struggled to beat those clowns. But a win is a win is a win right? There's A LOT of improvement this team needs to see before I can chalk a win like yesterday up to an off day.

Win or lose is the outcome. And it's all about how you arrive at that outcome. It's true in life as well. You can work hard and do all the right things and fail but at least you're doing the right things to get to the success you desire and you need to tweak a few minor things. Once you tweak the few flaws you have, success comes and then you maintain that success by continuing to employ the same fundamentals that brought you the success you have. Or, you can just get lucky with the bounce of a few ping pong balls and hit the lottery. I prefer the former method.

This team has A LOT to work on.

Bro, I don't care HOW we win, or by much we win. I care that we WIN.

Last I checked this is the NFL, and the other teams could win any given Sunday.

You guys are over analyzing this.

Enjoy the win.

So how you win isn't important yet everyone cares about how you lose, yes?

Rewind to September 21st, 2009 for that answer.

We won so Tony Sparano shouldn't look at game film to see where the team needs to improve and try to correct those flaws before our Thursday night game win Carolina? I really hope Coach Sparano doesn't take this same approach...

Obviously there is room for improvement, I am not denying that. But I also am not going to start a thread saying to fire the coach, cut this player, etc.

We won, I am happy. I trust the coaches know a little more about football than us, and will work on fixing the problems.

They will be ready for Carolina.

Well obviously those types of threads are delusional as they're generally posted by people with very little perspective and they're a prisoner of the moment.

It always gives me a good laugh to read about how much they love the Wildcat and how we should use it more because it works so well...

...and then they want Dan Henning, the Wildcat mastermind, fired.

And Chad Henne and Pat White are busts and we wasted picks on these guys because they're not producing enough at the toughest position in the game after a whopping four games....

...yet Ted Ginn should get a pass because it generally takes wide receivers three years to be productive.

Fire Tony Sparano....well, why? He was 11 - 5 last season and apparently all that matters is winning, right? So how can someone get mad because he used a timeout at a bad time?

People just don't think at times like this because they're too emotionally attached to the team and they let their bias get in the way of the truth. People like to cover up the teams flaws with a cheap win the same way a woman covers her flaws with makeup and alters her height with heels. The truth is still underneath.

Two games out of first with NE having to play NO and us, I'll take every win (ugly or not) we can get. Nobody cares how you get in the playoffs, just get in and you have a chance.

I couldn't agree with you more finjim, all this whining is crazy! Any given Sunday anyone can win....just ask NYJ, GB last week, Denver.

I thought we'd win by more but I love that Henne had Bess actually catch the ball to show the league we've got a guy who can win games in the 2 minute drill. The only difference between this win and the NE loss is the drops in the 2 minute drill, Henne was just as composed in both situations.

Finally!!! An intelligent poster!!

Thanks!

Agree 100%. We can be happy with the win, but as you pointed out... how well you play is a better indicator of how good you are than the number of Ws you have. Some teams win ugly all year, and if that's us, so be it. It beats losing. But teams that win ugly usually get their *** handed to them in the playoffs (if they make it that far) by a team that plays better football than they do.

Happened last year to us if I'm not mistaken.

I'll take a win over anything for sure.

That effort is not going to cut it against elite teams or even the panthers or jags. So don't fool yourself there. Wouldn't it be funny if the NFL Network used that wildcat commercial all week and we didnt run it once.

I mean this is silly . . . . u take EVERY WIN POSSIBLE.

Case in point . . . we MANHANDLED the Colts all night . . . and we lost . . . we played better today . . . why? because we won.

This Thursday is NOT a must win . . . its a NFC opponent. However if we lose Thursday . . . we HAVE to win out to make the playoffs making every game a must win. If we have the choice of what game to lose out of the next 3 . . . it is definitely this one. If we win all of them like this, I will take it . . . guaranteed.

There is NO WAY you watch that Indianapolis game and then the Tampa game and truly believe that we played BETTER against Tampa. C'mon.

Oh heck no, we played BAD yesterday, but we won. We played GREAT vs. the Colts and lost.

I'd rather win ugly than lose pretty, all day, every day.
