It seems like you people are forgetting about our one consistant weapon on offense. All I hear is Chambers Booker and Hagan. Don't get me wrong I like them, but Wes makes plays.
Answer this:
Third down important play who gets the ball????
You know you don't trust anybody else on the offense.
If we don't resign Wes, we are idiots. We better lock him up for years to come. People wanna talk about putting chambers in the slot, and the answer is Welker is a much better slot reciever. You wanna put them both in the slot, go for it. Don't you guys ever forget what Wes has done for this team. He does not drop the ball ever.

People talk about those three because:

1) We talk about Chambers under production

2) We talk about Bookers cap number

3) We talk about Hagan and his potential (which I believe he has a lot of)

It really has nothing to do with not appreciating Welker. Anyone who has said we shouldn't resign him hasn't gotten the nicest replies.

Well, he did have 4 drops in 2006. He dropped 4% of the passes thrown his way. Chambers dropped 5.1% of passes thrown his way.

If my memory serves me correctly I think there was one Harrington pass thrown behind him he reached for, tipped up in the air and had intercepted in there.

I have nothing against Wes but everyone drops the ball sometimes.

I'll say this about Welker. If we spend more than $1.5-2 million a year on him, we've overpaid.

Definitely overpaid if it's 1.5 mill a year. I really have no problem if we don't resign him.

And if you think Welker is a better slot receiver than Chambers you don't know what you're talking about. Now if you say with Harrington at Qb, Welker is a better slot receiver than Chambers is on the outside, then you may have something I could argue for.

He's our Don Beebe. Whom I happaned to hate with a passion that burned deep within my loins like a flaming golden hawk.

Harrington sucks. I heard fairly recently (being as I live in oregon where he went to college) on the radio about the Joey Harrington foundation. They had an add saying "for every touchdown Joey Harrington throws, we will donate $500 to the blah blah blah fund." I looked to my friend and was like, its only $500 because they know he wont throw any td's. If it was Manning it would be like $20." And to think I had faith in the guy when he came into the league.

I know Harrington sucks. I don't know where I ever said he didn't.

I agree, he was our best offensive weapon last year. At least, he was the most consistent weapon. I hope we resign. Go Wes! Go Dolphins!!
