So i was bored and found out some fun fact about some of our Dolphins and thought i would share.

Chad Pennington:
8th in passing yards :hi5: who honestly saw this one coming
6th in QB rating at 93.7 this inst that big of a shock since he is so efficient but still great.

Davone Bess:
6th in catches for a rookie with 39 not bad for an undrafted free agent who hasn't seen the field much till the last handful of weeks.

6th in yards for a rookie receiver at 433 and averages 11.1 a catch not to mention his hands are great.

5th in 1st down by a rookie with 22. So 22 catches for first downs and 39 total receptions. 56.4% go for a first down NICE

It is realistic for him to get into the top 4 or 5 of all of these categories GO BESS

Defense:
12 ints' and 15 forced fumbles in which we have recovered 10 so 22 turnovers with 3 games left to go.

That goes it 6 int's and only 4 fumbles we are hanging onto the ball.

So 22 takeaway and 10 turnovers= +12 1st in the NFL

13th ranked defense...not stellar but VERY MUCH IMPROVED and great to see us getting back to that

I though i would share if you have more please add them I am sure all us Dolfans would love to hear them.
 
good stuff... other cool facts as i do the same and hunt for some...

-Our run defense is best at stopping explosive plays, we are tied for 1st (w/Pitt and San Diego) with allowing only 3 rushes of 20+ yards, and we are one of only 4 teams (NYG, NYJ, PHI are others) that have not allowed a rush over 40 yards

-We have the 6th highest yards per pass attempt in the league, and tied for 7th most yards per play

-We have the 5th most rushing TDs in the league, yet have given up the 7th fewest rushing tds on the season

we are also...

10th in 3rd down percentage on defense allowing only 36% of third downs to be converted on us.

8th in total sacks with 32. With a young line blocking that's alot of sacks 13 behind the lead but only 7 behind 3rd so looking good.
 
2 weeks ago our offensive red zone efficiency was 2nd best in the league..last week we were 4th best

(i'm sure it dropped a bit but still good)
 
-We are the only team south of Tampa, that has won 8 games.

-We are the only team named after something that lives under water

-The only team to go undefeated and win a superbowl in the same season.

-The only team with a fight song so annoying that I can clear out my house just by putting on the song and playing it repeatedly at a high volume.
