did you know daunte was born in prison? his bilogical mothers name is barbera henderson, his adoptive mothers name is emma culpepper, he went to vangaurd highschool, he was drafted by the yankees, he went to the university of central florida, he was the number 11 th pick overall in the 1999 nfl draft, he is the biggest qb to play in nfl history, he has 29 carreer rushing touchdowns, he has 135 career passing touchdowns, he set a record at ucf for the power clean lift, he ran a 4.5 FLAT 40 yd dash(faster then vince young) he founded the AAAA(african american adoption agency) he threw a ball over 60 yards on one knee in college warm ups, he can reportedly throw a ball 80+ yards, he broke virtually every record in vikings history for a qb, and he rewrote the record books for ucf, he has almost 3,000 career rushing yards, and has over 20,000 passing yards, joe namath said he was the best qb hes ever seen, he adopted his nephew, his wifes name is kim, he won his first nfl start by rushing for 3 tds in that game, his first play from scrimmage in his first start was a 25 yard run, and he is now proud to be a miami dolphin..........now after reading all this, you have to kinda laugh, because the vikings traded all this away for a 2nd round draft pick?

I didn't know most of that stuff. I bet it took quite a bit of time to dig all of that up. Thanks, I enjoyed it!

Nice synopsis. I wish you were here to post this just after the trade. It may have qwelled things a bit during the chaos that ensued.

You obviously don't remember the Wildcats four year run of the state with Scott Brantley. All three of your cities teams have nice tradition.

D Pepper is a quality player who will be first on depth chart when health permits. Lucas didn't work out quite as good as I expect Culpepper to.

I think in the little while when we released Rosenfels and Frerotte before signing Daunte, Cleo Lemon was the first on Miami's depth chart...
