As per his Wikipedia page:

"Ginn has admitted that he has a learning disability, and it takes him two to three times longer to learn something than most others. After being diagnosed in the eighth grade, Ginn had tutors to help him and graduated from middle and high school with honors"

Can we hire Oronde Gadsden to be his freakin C A T C H tutor....

Actually just thinking about this and I always thought he sounded dumb when interviewed as does Simple Jack, sorry Jason Allen....

Both first rounders...sheesh

I Always looked up to Him you know with the disabilities and gettting into OSU and The NFL

I disagree though i dont think he is stupid he just has no self confidence.
And why is it that people keep looking at his wikipedia page?

so how long do we have to wait for him to learn how to catch?

Nope, but it does not help..................:rimshot:
Dead wrong. Very sucessful people over come learning disabilities. They tend to be more succesful and have a much better work ethic for obvious reasons.

That makes him a double-dipper then doesn't it?

'I just want to make sum plays an half sum fun out dare'... :rolleyes2:

Its Not Cool to Make fun of someone with Learning disabilties..

I hate Ted Gin But he shount be mocked for his disability he should be mocked for being afraid to be tackled by a butterfly

One of my friends is dyslexic, was put in the slow classes through most of elementary school until his desperate parents had him tested and diagnosed. He still struggles with learning but graduated from UCLA with honors and today is a multimillionaire spec developer, owner of about 2000 rental apartments and a few small office buildings. Dyslexia has nothing to do with intelligence!

Well lets break this down then...

So if it takes him 2-3 times longer to learn something than the average person...what do you think it'll take for him to learn how to catch?

Lets say on average kids don't actually develop the ability to catch anything thrown their way until they're 9-10. They may catch some balls when they're 6-8...but they sure don't have the ability to do it consistently.

If we assume that Ginn really DOES take 3 times longer...9x3 = 27.

Hes still got a couple years....

His learning disabilities have nothing to do with his poor play. It's his attitude, lack of effort, and lack of heart is why Ginn just isn't up to snuff.
