I don't post much but if they don't have interest in Rivers they are no different than the previous regime. STUPID!

They gave away the one QB who had arm strength & now they are all hung up on it.

Rivers has good arm strength from what I mhave seen & read & he would be more likely to be able to start than a rookie drafted next year. He is signed. he has watched Brees for 2 years be successful. I will be very angry if they do not go after him.

Won't take saban seriously if this is true. But he let Gus start so anything is possible.

I really do think Rivers has a shot at being in Miami next year. Maybe a long shot but one nonetheless.

arm strength is good, but i would rather have a QB who can find the open man and throw an accurate pass.

i think rivers will be traded. Brees has played very well this season. i think LT and Gates have a lot to do with it, but still. some team will trade a 1st rounder for Rivers. if the fins were smart, they would go after him first.

Rivers has too many question marks to trade a top 10 pick for. Where he was drafted is irrelevant at this point, because, there have been concerns expressed after his preseason performances. My understanding is that a top 10 pick was San Diego's asking price.
Now if San Diego wants to flip flop 1st rounders and give up Rivers in the deal I would do it.

The only thing I question about Rivers is...why hasn't he been able to beat out Brees?

They gave up on Brees...drafted Rivers and...Brees is a Pro Bowl QB...I know that Brees has played really well but I'm suprised that Rivers wasn't able to beat out Brees...that worries me a little.

Go Fins!!!

because, no matter what Rivers does in practice, Brees is producing wins and playing well on the field. noone would be stupid enough to put rivers in for brees at this point.
