Guys, I think all you at this site are diehards, guys who watched all the games when we were 4-12 type phin fans right, my question is why does it get harder to tolerate losing games more every year like sunday to a team that you have to beat, have we been spoiled with this organizations success, i got to tell you i have never been soo angry in my 35 years of being a phin fan, can anybody help the doctor is ill

i miss the years of being spoiled but that was sooooo long ago. we are faaar from spoiled.
 
Shrug. It used to be painful and frustrating...now, I just expect it. I'll believe this team can compete when they do it, not before. I've been burned way too many times to have any faith in this bunch of underachieving also-rans.
 
that is the thing, for a long time this team underachieved even during shulas last years thru jimmy, wanny so you are expecting to lose now and i dont like it
 
well when i was 4-5 years old i remember dan the man killing the jets but i almost remember we always lost :/ lol

anyway i got serious in the year 1999-2000 so yea i remember our last playoff game on radio baltimore kicked our ***.

so yea we always got hype and you know it takes a toll on you and you start to get realistic, and you have to turn your elbow a bit and say hey we need more pieces to the puzzle we all have to agree no matter how bad it hurts.

Zack is not saban's guy were not the defense we can be with zack we need a hybrid ILB PERIOD a 6*4 guy end of story.
There we have no damn O-line.
Do we have a great LB core? nope
is our secondary good? maybe it is maybe its not its shaky
Do we need a tall dual threat WR 6*3 wr ? maybe
Is our defensive shceme good?
Is our offensive playcalling good? i dont know
is the locker room good in terms of confidence?
Do we have a leader in the locker room and field to pump us up?
Is the team confident on daunte?
Is there a bit of sour grapes between joey n daunte?
every little thing affects the team atmosphere.

Pitt had a great team chemistry.

Patriots:
Great coaching team no doubt,great scheme, playcalling,dillon is a bit of an a**-hole to his rb competition.

To be honest i think we can get to the SB this year, but in reality i think its gonna be next year,maybe the 3rd year, but i do thing were a complete team next year.
 
We are all caught up living in the past because the future aint looking to good now. You had the awesome 70's teams, then the awesome 80's teams with Marino. The 90's had some moments here and there. But latley it's been pretty depressing. I guess we are trying to measure the current teams to the 70's and 80's teams and it isnt working because they arent having the success of those teams.
 
i started watching the dolphins in the early 90's when i was 6-7 so i saw dan at the end, i remember dan having all these great games and expecting wins, now i know we are a rebuilding team after the ****ty dave years, but we almost have a complete team, we need to get jason allen some playing time to see what he can do, the guy is as fast as anyone

our defense should be playing alot better than we are especially against the run

our offense is disappointing, the playcalling sucks pass is all we do, this team on paper looks more balance than that

That didnt help, and it really shows how much the players believed the hype and just laid down. No Intensity

Very good point, I think that for once people outsie of this forum gave us respect and it wen't to our heads. Also, things can be turned around in a play. However, I do think we were all putting to much faith in the dredded P word...POTENTIAL.
