Thats positive... I guess.

It appears that his agent was hesitant to be too certain, since he may still sign with the Seahawks. But the longer this goes on without us hearing about a contract in Seattle, the better our chances are.

Adam Schefter reported tonight that Clevelan would be next on Dielman's list, but after signing Steinbach, I would imagine they are out of the running.

It would be great, but I am really afraid of his contract demands.

Well, with Jeno, McKinney and Mac not returning we really need to bring in some good talented bodies. Dielman has been the only FA (until Porter was released) that I wanted to sign. I just hope that the Phins don't get shut out and end up throwing desperation money at a guy like L. Davis.

And trading down from #9 for a few extra picks and then drafting Kalil would be ideal IMO.

I am not too worried about the contract. I think we are at a point where we have to be willing to pay up for quality offensive linemen. No offense can be successful if your QB cant stay on his feet, no matter how good your skill position guys are. If we sign Dielman, you wont see me complaining about overpaying, because I can already see he is going to get a big contract, just looking at what Dockery and Steinbach got. So I have braced myself and now would just be ecstatic to have him in aqua and orange playing for Coach Cam!

I will be totally shocked and stoked at the same time if we get Dielman. IMO I do not think we will get him.:boohoo::dolphins::boohoo:

yeah, no need to be afraid of his contract demands. we need to be willing to offer him the $7mil a year that dockery and steinbach got.

olb is so deep in the draft that Dielman should be the #1 priority with Porter #2. Because at #39 in the 2nd round, we can still end up with a beast at rushing OLB like Quentin Moses, Lamar Woodley, or Anthony Spencer.

I say lets worry about Porter "after" we sign Dielman.

There was a report on NFL Sirius this morning that the Seahawks are so high on Deilman that they do not want him to leave the practice facility. Looks like they are willing to pay big-time for him.

Does not look good for Miami if they are interested.....
