Where are we him?
Starter next year?
Good enough back up?
Cut?

They must like him as backup
If we haven’t seen him yet that’s a good thing
But if he’s still on the roster the staff must feel he’s a capable backup

Hopefully he's developing and working to not be a liability if his number is called. For me the jury is still out on the kid..... While his performance to this point has been underwhelming, he is young, cheap and under contract. Let's see what happens....

When the opportunity comes
Deiter will bring the heater!

Bottom line:
Deiter ain't no cheater!

He's working high on the hog
pounding the rack and pumping his guns!

Dude looks like a ginger popeye all puffed up!

Last we saw him he was soft and doughy. Hopefully he’s getting that fixed and survives In Miami. If I had to guess, he gone by the start of the regular season next year. By then he will had had ample time to man up physically. You look at the starters in the middle of our line now and you can see what legit NFL linemen look like physically. Huge drop off to what Dieter is.

He appears to be another draft mistake and with the players they now have as starters on the OL, I never see him as a starter with the Dolphins. I suspect he is a one contract player who will be on another team after his contract ends with the Dolphins or he will be out of the league.
‘If the Dolphins draft additional offensive linemen or sign an offensive lineman in free agency, there is a good chance Deiter will be cut before the season starts next year.

Ted Karras has done a great job and definitely earned a long-term deal as a starter. We should lock him up quickly before he becomes a high-priced FA.

As for Deiter, well, this is a competitive industry. We drafted over him with Solomon Kindley and Robert Hunt who can both play guard. Our first option at center, Ted Karras, has proven very good. That means Michael Deiter is now competing for a roster spot more than anything. We have a lot of 2021 draft picks, and we should draft another couple OL prospects to compete all across the line, and that should include one guy who is a C/G combo guy to compete directly with Deiter and possibly be our back-up/replacement if we lose Ted Karras to FA. At this point, it's up to Deiter to prove the roster spot is his. If we lose Karras, I suspect we'll draft a starting C rather than give it to Deiter without a fight.

I like the kid, but this is a prove it industry. That goes for Mario Williams, Tua, and Michael Deiter alike. If you're good enough, you play. If you're not, you hit waivers and hope someone wants to roll the dice on you.

As for your hit on Tua about all his needs. He will obviously be more effective with better talent around him but he has played quite well with the practice squad WR’s he has been forced to play with this year.
‘Any other rookie QB having to play with no running game and the WR’s on the Dolphins roster would have had no where near the success Tua has had. But you just keep hating on Tua if it makes you feel better about yourself.
