Greg Schiano has honor, pride, and loyalty to his players and that is why he refused to take the Canes job and stay with Rutgers. Saban is money hungry, a quitter, and untrustworthy.

...he was making more per yr. with the Dolphins.
But great research!

Wow he told the Dolphins owner that he would stay if he wanted him too, So thats not all that correct. Besides he has enough monery

Saban lied to his players, didn't even show up to the press conference yesterday because he is a coward. Schiano could have gone to a big time program in miami but he kept a PROMISE to his players at Rutgers. Saban will be making more money and SECURITY in Alabama. Saban will make tons of cash in bonus money when he takes Alabama to a BCS bowl game every year. Schiano = class act to rutgers, Saban = backstabber to the Dolphin franchise and fans.

That's even more classless by Saban. He didn't even have the guts to outright say to the Dolphin's owner that he is going to leave. Saban's statement to the dolphin's owner was an insinuation that he is not committed to miami anymore and that he wants to bolt out of miami as soon as possible.

I'm sure it went something like, "Wayne, I'll stay if you really, really, really, really, really, REALLY want me to."

simple thing is Saban said one thing and did the other. if he would have said nothing and then at the end just said he thought college was a better place for him, there wouldnt be all these hard feelings.

So at least he was willing to stay and I respect him for that. He was not happy at his job so I wish him the best luck (Unless he plays the Gators) .

Saying "I'll stay if you want me to" is another way of saying "I don't want to be here".

No he did not want to be there and he was not happy. Thats not a huge secret. However he was gunna stay and do a job that he did not wanna do and that says alot.

I don't think it says much at all. Wayne, with any good business sense, couldn't keep him if he didn't want to be there, and Nick KNEW it.

the difference: Nick Satan is really just a pansy lil girl who got PMS and is now riding the crimson tide.

Nick Saban told Wayne that he would stay if he wanted him too and Wayne said follow your heart
