Everyone predicted the Fins and Redskins among the leagues worst because of poor QB play.. Well after 2 games its obvious, the Redskins have a REAL coach who knows how to get an offense going out of anything. Shanahan is proving he can win with the Redskins Oline, Rex Grossman and Tim Hightower, and lets not even talk about that defense, a defense very similary built to ours.. Sparano has a lot of talent on this team and yet cant get it done. You're telling me the Redskins offense is better on paper than the Dolphins!? No, its not, but they definitely have a better coach and in the end that prevails. Its us against the 49ers, Seahawks, Chiefs, and Vikings for the great Andrew Luck.
 
The Dolphins don't have as much talent as you think. You need to be objective in your assessment. This is probably the worst OL in the league, coupled with a highly over rated defense.

That and a horrible coaching staff and front office.

how u think pat bowlin (denver owner - think thats his name) feels about letting go of shanahan now? considering what he has and been through since

I hope you're wrong about Shanahan because I bet the under on them :crazy:
 
I'm a Redskins fan and the OP has good points. But just cause Redskins don't have "names" doesn't mean they don't have talent. You have to believe in with your coach is doing and get players that fit your scheme. What is the Phins scheme are they a running team, passing team, Redskins bought in and drafted players for the 3-4 defense, oline and runningbacks for the zone blocking. Again they are similar teams cause I live in Miami and watch every Phins and Redskins game BUT, Phins have bad coaching as well as management.
 
Redskins played Giants (10-6 at best) (great win) and arizona (8-8 at best)

We played Pats (13-3 at worst) and Houston (10-6 at worst)

We played the best team in the NFL, and probably the 2-3-4 best team in the AFC. We lost due to miscues, injury, cramps, and stupid little stuff that added up. Just saying

He's actually feeling pretty good about it believe it or not. Too many egos involved. Bowlen and Shanahan hit a rough spot in their relationship. They then had a pissing contest and Bowlen pissed a little further...sort of.

In the end, Shanahan is a damn good coach, Bowlen is a retard, but Bowlen gets to laugh last even though everyone is really laughing at him.

That was when Shanahan was touting John Beck as his starter. Wised up to that sh*t pretty quick after all didn't he?

Exactly. Our guys have a competition between Henne and Moore. Mix in Beck and I'm not sure who's worse.
 
It also makes a difference that the Skins played two average teams and Miami played two good ones
 
The Dolphins played tougher teams than Washington..Not saying the skins aint good...But I would have taken Arizona and the Giants any day of the week over Texans and the Pats..

We get to play the Giants..so we will see how good they are...
