I just want to say..what a ride this 6 game winning streak has been!!!!
But,my question to you guys is...What have you noticed that is different about
Ryan this year? For me,it's been his movement of his feet in the pocket...His pocket awareness
this year is light years ahead of the previous years...And that first down run around the corner
yesterday was a thing of beauty....What other differences have you noticed?

Confidence. Better ball placement. Aggressiveness....lots and lots of it. Love that he's taking more shots downfield.

Better on touch passes. That's the one that stands out. The pass he threw in the corner of the end zone to Parker -- that should not have been overturned -- was beautiful and he's had a few other nice ones recently.

The pocket movement, while I credit Gase for development in that area, remember that Joe Philbin, Mike Sherman, and Bill Lazor all told him he had to stand in the pocket and stay there. I was one of many people who said "That's smart, develop him as a pocket passer, that's the path to great QB play in the long haul." I didn't count on the dumpster fire OL play, though.

Only one turnover in that stretch. Makes a big difference. Don't beat yourself....

The commentators yesterday were talking about RT's throwing motion. RT is throwing the ball with more authority and confidence, and he is putting some great velocity on it. It seems that the QB whisperer might have had a hand on this one. His accuracy and timing with receivers is also much improved. Pocket awareness has never been RT's strong suit, but he is getting better.....

In his press conference yeaterday he said the biggest thing to him was moving his 'feet' quicker. He was pressed well you mean running more and he said not really just taking a look around and making the decision when its time to move around. I agree thats been a big part of it, he improved the deep ball last year the touch pass though was still a hard throw for him but he has made some beauty's this year.

Actually, Bill Lazor deserves credit for the mechanics stuff. Lazor had real issues managing his players and had some big flaws as a coordinator, but he did a great job helping the quarterback to improve his footwork and throwing mechanics in the year and a half that he was with Miami. Even though I have a some real contempt for Lazor for some of the stuff he did in public and behind the scenes, he deserves a tremendous amount of credit for that.

However, it all goes back to what a lousy coaching staff Joe initially assembled in Miami. Zac Taylor was obviously not qualified or capable to properly coach the QB on his throwing mechanics, and Mike Sherman didn't seem to care. That's something that should have been addressed DAY ONE. Look at what Jacksonville's going through with Blake Bortles right now, they need a guy in there to fix that mess yesterday.

Pocket movement/awareness is light years better then before. He's actually getting away from pressure now and turning broke plays into positive plays.

Confidence in the deep ball, he sees the 1 on 1 coverage downfield, he takes his time and let's it rip. Looks much more sure of himself throwing it deep.

Ball placement is off the charts. I'm amazed how he is able to roll out and hit players in stride (Stills in San Diego was ****ing phenomenal).

This is so subjective, but relevant IMO: watching his post-game pressers over the years, this season he comes across a lot more confident, well-spoken and well-thought out. Just the demeanor you want of your QB/leader. It's reflective of his stature among his teammates and performance on the field.

This was the throw of the year to me, in terms of Tannehill, never seen him throw that before, and he's thrown some beauties..
