I see (crystal ball) a monster year in 2014. Watch him explode past the line and cause other teams lose yardage. Remember that some compare him, a few folks, as good as- potential wise- as the all great Jason Taylor. Maybe that's off, I think it is, but yet who is to say when the man was not really used too much last season.

Your thoughts?

Nope. He was rarely used in his rookie season because he was behind two double digit sack artists. He's a bust.

It's way too early to label him a bust. I will give him 3 years and then a decision if he is indeed a bust or not. I hope you're wrong my friend. I hope he becomes a dynamic player.

(I am taking off now. I will return to FH later tonight- sorry for now that I can't reply. Later. Go Fins!!)

I think crystal ball is clouded! Kind of hard to get on field if you can't beat someone out for a spot. Until then its not happening

He essentially switch positions from what he played in college, I think most football fans knew he was going to be a developmental player...

He has blue chip athleticism and a freakish combination of size, speed, and athleticism...if puts on 10-15 pounds and is 100% Rodgers will have him ready to make things happen.

Not sure if it will happen...but the potential is there for Jordan to be the biggest difference maker from last year. Hopefully he is working hard this offseason and getting his body ready. Another guy who is going to get his shot it seems is Jamar Taylor. Hopefully these guys are up for it.

A number three pick in the draft who can't get on the field with a team who had four straight non-winning seasons? That is the dictionary definition of a bust.

He won't contribute until he finds a way to get on the field. He won't get on the field until he convinces the coaches he can play against the run.

I think he has enough special attributes in space and coverage that I'd move him to SLB and move Misi to a rotational player. I'd feel better about the idea if we still had Paul Soliai, but I still think you get more than you give on that switch. I don't understand the idea of trying to turn Dion Jordan into a great DE. His game against Gronk is the highlight of his rookie season. He was amazing in that role - keeping close coverage at all depths. I remember Daniel Jeremiah complaining that Oregon dropped Jordan into coverage too often. I think Oregon used him very well.

according to dave hyde he had bad work habits and the coaches were very disappointed with his work ethic...having said that, he never in his life had a monster year with a ton of sacks. not in college and not last yr. so to say hes gonna have double digit sacks is based on nothing but hope. i hope he has 20 sacks next year but i seriously doubt he has even 7.

There were some flashes last year during his few opportunities to play. We have a new LB coach this year who might be able to either get more out of him if this is a practice / work ethic issue or scheme him better to fit his talents. Either way, I think it is too early to label him a success or a bust. Year 3 is the best year to normally judge the members of a draft class....but the number three pick overall should have had more impact in 2013. He either breaks out this year or he definitely is a bust.....
