Dion Jordan

Jordan was supposed to be the next Jason Taylor. So far it looks like another wasted pick. Reminds me of John Bosa. He has made a few plays, but for being such a high pick he needs to do a whole lot more. Look at Suh in Detroit. He made an impact as a rookie, and is a game changer.

There nothing wrong with kid, and tired of hearing people say he needs to add weight?!? According to who you, as far as I know if he started he would have 8 sacks right now to O'S 4.5 (which isn't bad.) Point blank he is being missed used!!!! Me personally I would give him more reps at lb to put the bitch wheeler on the bench!!! He is the biggest liability on this D PERIOD!

Ireland signed a receiver (Wallace) who doesn't fit the offense, and he spent a first-round pick on a player who doesn't have a position in the defense.

Jordan is a classic 3-4 outside linebacker, not a 4-3 defensive end.

When Jeff Ireland spends precious resources on players who don't fit the schemes the coaches are running, it certainly speaks to his ineptitude IMO.

Better question is where they heck is Jamar Taylor? Will Davis? Dallas Thomas????

They are most likely not using him as an every down lineman because he is light and would be the focal point of an opposing team's rushing attack. He comes in on obvious passing situations and has flashed some ability in the limited time he has been on the field. The problem we all have is being drafted at #3 overall and trading up to make that pick is we expect, rightfully so, to have that high of a player be on the field on every down and immediately be an impact starter.

He looks like a situational player which makes perfect sense for an Ireland 3rd overall pick. Can't wait until thus guy is fired

We traded up to get this person and I've only heard his name twice on the field so far I think.
Can someone explain that to me?
I'd like to see an end of the season comparison of his productivity vs. Jason Taylors rookie year productivity....if its even or better, I'm still very hopeful!

many thought he would draft the safe pick on oline looking back that would have beenn the wise choice..

Highest drafted special teamer in NFL history.

Makes the Raiders look conservative for taking a kicker in the 1st round.

honestly the future of the D-line will consist of O. Vernon, J. Odrick, P. Solia, and D. Jordan. C. Wake is already 30+ if I'm not mistaken. It was a high value pick, not expected to be instrumental this season. I understand your frustration though, we all do...

I can see this, but honestly. I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't. If this coaching staff is gone. That means a new scheme would may be coming. Which means would could easily go back to the hyrbid defense we ran before w/ Nolan. Idk. Only time will tell.
