You'd have to think he can tackle better than Wheeler right now.

As an end rusher, he has a ways to go. Jason Taylor took some time too. Guys like Reggie White or Bruce Smith don't happen that often. It takes time to get really good at the NFL level, which is why I still wanted a Dwight Freeney or Abraham in FAto compliment or fill in for Wake if he's nicked up.
I totally agree - Freeney seemed right - The Dolphins would have had another versatile pass rusher to put in the game at crucial moments.
Not getting Freeney was a fail.

I think the Dolphins are reluctant to put Jordan out there on run downs because of his shoulder. He might still have a hard time engaging blockers and getting good leverage with the bad shoulder. The guy definitely has flashed his talent, but it's up to the coaching staff to turn him into a weapon.

The kid has a skill set, he just doesn't have a position in this defense until one of two things happens...

1) the switch to a 3-4 and let him play OLB where I think he could be dominant

2) put on about 15-20 pounds and can set the edge on a consistent basis
