I just want to give you all a heads up who get the NFL package. If you paid 179.99 for the package last year, you will now be paying 199.99. I found this out, and I thought I would pass it along.

Thanks for the info, I hope I'm automatically re-newed....good thing you reminded me, I will have to call them today and see if I'm automatically re-newed.

Yes, but if you have subscribed in the past its 199.00. Good catch though. Still cheaper then a sports bar.

That's what I get for cancelling last season due to the Titans game. I'm paying $318 for the Ticket in HD.

Small price for me to see Jerry Rice catch his first three touchdowns with Denver, against Miami opening day!

Sorry to hear that! That is a lot od duckets!

Well worth every penny for this upcoming season. So there is one good thing about not getting primetime games.

Hey guys, this may be naive, I know. And yes I emailed DirectTV and never received an answer, but, can you just buy a satellite and order only NFL ticket, no other channels or progrmming/packages. I just want the football games, is this possible? If not whats the cheapest alternative, what would be the total estimated cost to watch th Fins play this year? THX.

There's a paragraph on the DTV website that says you need to have a programming package with them to get Sunday Ticket. The cheapest package is $41.99.

So if you don't need the HDTV, you'll pay the $41.99 a month and $219 for the ticket.
