Coming from the perennial "Dirtiest Player In The League" as voted by coaches and players. This is like Jeffrey Dahmer being concerned over potential cannibalism after a remote island passenger plane crash. LOL

Avoiding hits goes a long way in extending the longevity of Brady's already storied career, but getting taken down is inevitable in the NFL. It now seems as though an injury is the only thing that will derail Brady's outstanding season, and former New England Patriots safety Rodney Harrison is concerned.

Especially since Miami Dolphins defensive end Olivier Vernon was flagged and fined for a low hit against Marcus Mariota and the Tennessee Titans a few weeks ago, which resulted in an MCL injury.

"I believe Dan Campbell comes in instantly, he has credibility, they respect him," Harrison said on WEEI, via the Boston Herald. "They know he played the game, and he came in with a no-nonsense attitude and he said, ‘Hey, guys, I know what we’re going to do. We’re not going to play dirty, but we’re going to play close to that line as possible.’ And you saw what (defensive end Olivier) Vernon did to (Titans quarterback Marcus) Mariota -- hit him low.

"Ndamukong Suh has a reputation for being dirty. Cameron Wake is their best pass rusher. So if I’m concerned about anything, I’m concerned about Tom Brady taking a cheap shot from one of these guys."

While the Dolphins are by no means a dirty team, they have become a very physical one in the past couple weeks. After recording just one sack in the first four games, they've sacked the quarterback 10 times in the last two. It may not be a question of whether or not Brady will take a cheap shot. It could be a matter of Brady taking a few shots, dirty or not.

The Patriots will already be without their left tackle Nate Solder and his backup, Marcus Cannon, which doesn't bode well for Brady's pass protection. Short, quick routes and a run game will be Brady's best friend in this one.

why cheap shot him when we can break him perfectly legally lol

Olivia Vernon you got to earn your money tonight. You could make the difference. This game is going to won with our big 4 D-lineman. We have holes at CB and Lb so these guys are going to have to harass Brady all day. I dont want Brady hurt, I dont want know excuses if we win.

I wonder if Rodney is concerned about the Patriots' balls being properly inflated or Belichick installing spy cams in the visiting locker room.

Patriots worried about someone cheating, hilarious. At least if we get fined for a late hit, we will accept the penalty and not take the league to court.

I hate to say this, but here goes.
15 yards and an ejection might be well worth it.

thats funny coming from one of the dirtiest players of all time. I wish he was still playing so we can break him too.

Puhleez!!!! The Patriots are notorious cheap-shot artists who love to skirt the lines on legal hits. Watch out for the forearm shots to the back of the helmet, they do it all the time. I'm concerned for Jarvis Landry who plays hard every down; refuses to go down when the ball is in his hand, this is when the forearms start flying (and some will come in late).

Funny that Rodney Harrison is afraid they may get a taste of their own medicine now. This is going to a very physical game

I'm a big fan of irony. Picture that the article provided is quite appropriate as well.

Coaches validate Harrison's rep as NFL's dirtiest player

The label, reinforced through an ESPN.com poll of NFL head coaches, is not without basis. Fines and suspensions long ago became part of the cost of doing business for this two-time Pro Bowl choice. But Harrison's reputation, fueled by a penchant for playing up to the whistle and perhaps a tick beyond, might overshadow evidence that other players deserve as much or more scrutiny for questionable on-field tactics.

The numbers suggest Harrison's name belongs in the first paragraph of any discussion about the NFL's dirtiest players

Way too many ex Pats in the media. NO possible way that bias DOESN'T come in to play. Get these cheaters off TV!

We're getting into the Patriot's heads, along with their ex-players. I bet Bruschi, McGinest, Harrison and Heath Evans pee down their leg when they see and hear Dan Campbell.

Ever notice how those who decry something the most are usually the most guilty of it? .... Anti-Gay Pastors getting caught with male prostitutes. Family values icons who molest their sisters and have multiple Ashely Madison accounts? Former conservative House Speakers paying illegal hush money to keep past molestation habits a secret?

Now we have a former dirty football player from a cheating team on TV warning America to watch out for dirty players on another team? That is CLASSIC deflecting...

I hope the Dolphins put the Pats on notice early that they will not bullied; even if that means an unnecessary roughness penalty.
