Hey I was on another forum and i came across this post. After reading I wouldnt doubt one thing on this post. If this is true Saban is a piece of work!

If Saban made it clear he would coach Alabama (through his agent), before Shula was fired and Shula was fired because Saban showed interest. That sure would explain the Dons' anger at Saban. I believe thats exactly how it went down.

I wonder if all this was legal and according to college regs. If nothing else it stinks; It really really stinks. Lord, please give the Dolphins a new coach who is a decent man as well as competent.

If true that sucks and really shows what Saban's true colors really are. But he's gone and now maybe we can get a HC that will put us back to the top.
