I know dish doesn't carry Sunday Ticket, so I was wondering if anyone knows what kind of broadcast game schedule Miami will have on the Dish regular sports channels.... hoping there will be an abundance.
There was a deal if you ordered Sunday Ticket before the season you would get any movie channels for free, but not sure for how long.Phinlivin'in703 said:sunday ticket is too expensive, $300?

That is what they try to do on the new commercial with Tiki Barber.steveincolorado said:I've had the Directv package since 1998, and I wouldn't trade it for Dish anyday. Partly because of the Sunday package. The Sunday ticket is about $230 bucks for new people and about $209 for old timers. I went HD this season and Directv gave me the Superfan package for free (this year). Watching the games in HD is really sweet. You can really tell a difference between SD and HD.
I moved out here to Colorado in 2003 and a Dish sales rep knocked on my door and tried to sell me the Dish package. I said no because they don't have the Sunday package. He tried to tell/explain to me that they do get NFL games on Sundays. I said yes you do, but only what the local channels broadcasts and the Sunday nighter. He tired to tell me some other crap, but I was willing to bet my paycheck against his that I was right and he backed down. Dish will tell you that you will get NFL games, which you will, but they cannot get the Sunday ticket. Just be careful when they try to sweet talk you about football packages. They cannot get the Sunday package, only Directv has that package. Directv has the contract with NFL, not Dish.
NFL Sunday Ticket, MLB Extra Innings, NHL Center Ice, All Basketball, everything........SigmaOmega said:what nfl stuff do you get with that sport package, NFL Network?
I get about four or five Dish Network sales calls at home every year, and I just let them do their five minute pitch, I tell them I want their HBO, Showtime etc. packages, I tell them I need about three receivers in the house blah blah blah, the guy is probably thinking "I just closed this sucker" and just when he`s ready to schedule an appointment for installation....I ask them about Sunday Ticket. and of course they say it`s only available on DirecTV. The last guy I had call me, said that Dish was in the process of adding a SundayTicket type program. I said Good Luck and call back when you get it...like 8 years from now, when DirecTVs contract is up!steveincolorado said:I moved out here to Colorado in 2003 and a Dish sales rep knocked on my door and tried to sell me the Dish package.
