Disrespecting the Dolphins

I understand fans get attached to different players Ive liked many past former Dolphins: Surtain,Madison,Mare ,Welker,Harrington,Frerotte, to name a few etc. Players get moved alot more now with the cap and it is hard to watch them go, Ihave no problem wishing them success with their careers , but what's up with fans saying they hope our former players light it up against us and make Cam look bad and talking all this negative garbage about our team,wishing bad luck for our organization.I say leave with the player you love if you can't get over it.This is "FINHEAVEN" a site for fans who like the MIAMI DOLPHINS. IMO these type of Dolphonies are worse than rival fans.Does this get to anyone else ?

Well plastic surgeons in Miami should be making a few good bucks removing some lips from culpeppers rear. Homerism will get you nowhere, it just proves that those that practice it have no mind of their own. Hopefully Culpepper will be gone soon and this stuff stops. For all you sheep out there, support the team or make culpeppers new team your favorite.

I don't like the way the situation was handled with DC... AT ALL!

But with that said. I could never root for any other team than the Phins. Regardless how much I might hate a coach or player on our team. And I really dislike Cam. But I will buy my Phin gear for the year and stick by my team.

The bottom line: No player is bigger than the team. I think the only player who maybe deserved a little bit of a better ending here was Dan Marino....what do we owe a guy who played 4 games here? A thank you and good luck elsewhere.

Awesome. We're back to the fake fan/real fan bull****. Being a fan of a team is not joining a cult. You can bleed aqua and still have differing opinions on the choices the Dolphins make. I like intelligent, fair-minded discussion about the Dolphins. If you just want to be surrounded by people cheering every time Cam takes a sip of gatorade then pick up some pom poms and try out as a cheerleader.

Uh.......yep. Honestly, I would have liked for Culpepper to have a chance to heal up and see what, if anything he's got left. But I don't understand these heartfelt, saccharin farewells. Right now we have.. what?....maybe 100 guys at camp? They're all busting their butts trying to make an impression. But the reality is that only 53 will be on the team on opening day. Daunte is much more fortunate than most. He's made a truckload of money, and he most likely will catch on with some other team; ie: he's going to be okay. His pride is hurting right now, but he'll survive. He's probably going to catch on with another team and he's probably going to have a salary that will allow him to continue to live in the style he's grown accustomed to. I see no reason to cry for Daunte. No, it's not his fault he got injured. But this same drama is played out throughout the league with other teams every year.
But I absolutely don't get the posts about hoping Culpepper lights us up, makes us look bad, beats us, etc, etc.

Look man , I understand what you are saying, and I understand what the Fins are doing, and believe me, I support anybody that wears a dolphins jersey and a dolphins helmet. But when you see someone like Dante , the way he want it to comeback, the way he want it to be the fins QB.
And you see Cam saying that there will be competition in every position on the team. And you see what the dolphins did today, In front of the fans and in front of the media. That is classless, and not right at all. And even if I love the Dolphins with all my heart , I'm not going to just kept quiet.

Ya, what they did today with Dc was nothing but a bunch of Bull$hit! To disrespect him like that in front of the team and say he will not be here for long.... and i know that that did not sit well with lots of players.... And then to say that he cant practice? To have him escorted off the field by security? What kind of ish is that?

your absolutely right. we should have signed bree's. honestly saban would still be here if we signed brees. Saban knew last year he screwed up by signing dc. I'm sure that had to play into him leaving. Major screw up. but i am very happy with our current coach and gm. We will surprise some teams this year. signing green till beck is ready is the perfect senerio.
