Division is between Bills and Dolphins

I don't think any team in the AFC East or AFC North could finish better than 4th in the AFC West. The Only team in the AFC South that might possibly be able to finish in 3rd in that division would be Indy.

Miami didn't even play this weekend and they still lost....twice. Bills and NE winning are both the same as a loss for the Fins.

The only way Miami gets in the playoffs this season is by winning the division. Too many good teams in the AFC this season it appears and does anyone have any faith for this team beating Buffalo or outplaying the scum in NE over the course of a season???

Others have said weeks ago that Miami would need at least 9 wins for a shot at a playoff spot, but I'm thinking that they'll need 11 wins. They need a 4 or 5 game winning streak starting next Sunday. If they continue to hover around .500 throughout the season like they normally do, then nothing has changed and it's time for a real housecleaning.

The Fins need to simply hang around. There is a ton of season left. There will ups and downs. This team is not going to "run away with anything". Just keep the head above water and make a move come mid November and December.

Long season and lots of ball left.

That's the same way that I see things. We had our chances over the last couple seasons, actually were given chances a couple times as each season went along. This year may be the same, will we be able do anything about it or will it be the same old song and dance? Lot of football left so it's still to be determined.

I say the Fins need to be Jacksonville and one out of three with GB, Chi and SD. That would put them at 4-4 with the second half sked in front of them.

Would prefer beating GB and Chicago if possible, 3-1 out of that 4 game stretch. SD looks out of the question but they do have to travel cross country...

This. NE was extremely impressive yesterday, but you almost knew they would be. They won't be coming out that emotional with a "stick it to the world" attitude every game". That woeful offensive line didnt just all of a sudden get talented, we saw that last year and they will be dealing with that problem starting next week against Buffalo. They, just like the dolphins and the Bills, need to prove they can be consistent. I still think all three teams are pretty flawed. 9-10 wins will take this division and Im leaning towards 9.

If we were to lose two , the obvious choice is the Bears and Packers as NFC wins are meaningless in tiebreaker scenarios.

Jesus ... I just had a Wanny "keep-it-close-and-win-it-in-the-4th" flashback.

(pardon me while I go vomit :chuckle:)

At this point in the season (week 5) I can't put any confidence in this team to win the division. We played one good half against the Patriots, and beat a pathetic Oakland squad. Beating Green Bay should help, but I just don't see it right now. We're a 3rd place team right now in the AFC east. We're inconsistent. Let's get through these next stretch of games before we get talking about the division crown.

NE's division to lose. Buffalo can make a gigantic statement next week if they beat NE at home. I don't see Miami beating the Packers though.

As bad as he is, he is still much better than Ryan Tannehill.

Nice deep ball to get the Bengals back in it.

I can understand why you like dalton. He's very similiar to melty ice. Both can put up stats when nobody is looking but disappear for the big games.
