Pretty interesting stuff here. I know some journalists have browsed Finheaven (and even Richie's dad), so I just thought I'd leave this here for discussion and because I thought it was interesting.

Im sure they do, they are human. They are going to be curious to what the fan base thinks

Well then can you imagine what are personnel must be thinking if they read this board..... sheesh.

Of course they do. They're usually the ones that post positive crap about ****ty players, coaches, and GM's.

God, I hope Ireland NEVER read this board! I'd "almost" feel bad for him..

They might read them for the comedy.

Seriously they work ridiculous hours, to them 99% of what gets posted is probably hilarious.

They WORK on watching film and have entire STAFFS of scouts who travel and watch players first hand. They have contacts on college teams coaching staffs.

I wouldn't want the GM of my favorite team to look at message board for trade ideas. That'd be ridiculous. If the guy can't think enough for himself can his ass and bring in someone better.

I'll bet most teams a Director of Social Media and staff who read message boards and plants certain ideas or tries to correct rumors before they get out of hand.

If you think the brass from the various teams read and much less listen to advice from message boards, you are pretty naïve.
Now some players may or may not do it.
But coaches and GM's try to block out the outside chatter.

I highly doubt it. Dudes are too busy to read fan forums. They may listen to some chatter in Twitter however.

The Dolphins PR folks read the forums for sure though.

Do you imagine Philbin moving Wake to safety because he read it on a message board

Yeah, teams are always looking to see what fans are thinking, and forums do supply that. I am sure that the media does, as I have seen MANY articles saying the same things as threads a day or two later, and coincidence can only go so far.
