Do you think other teams prepare for Chris and gameplan for him?....Do other Tops WRS see Chambers as an equal?...Do they know that this guy can catch and play with the best of em?...I don't think they do...if they do...not that much...not until Chris passes that mark of either 100 catchs or 1000 yards whatever comes first...but Chambers already if he caught 100 balls he would definitely surpass 1000 yards....This is the year boys...where Chris Chambers will get that RESPECT.

I don't think teams care about seasonal stats like these as much as fans do. They look at what they can they do against them in that game. As long as Chambers is the best reciever on the team, teams will gameplan for him.

He doesn't get respect from other teams and he probably shouldn't. We all know that he can make amazing catches and has potential but until he shows everyone that by putting up the numbers I don't think the rest of the league will regard him has a top WR.

I've always felt this way about chambers...

He's awfully talented. He's got everything you want (could be a little taller) physically, and makes some OUTSTANDING grabs...

but he also drops some balls that he should probably catch.

Its getting to the point in his career where he needs to become dominant. With all the circus catches, has he ever been dominant?

This is his last year, no more excuses, if he can't thrive in an offense with other WR threats, two solid RB threats, and an offense that will throw downfield, he may never be more than a second tier WR.

Most opinions I have read about him seem to aknowledge the fact that he was not in an even remotely pass friendly offensive system.

I'd say they certainly game plan for him... he's double covered pretty often... so it's kinda evident.

Numbers matter in the game of football...if the opposing team recognizes that you are consistently gettin 100 yards a game or the week before...believe me teams know if you have a 1000 yard WR on the squad...stats probably are more cherished by fans more than NFL teams do but that doesn't mean that they dont care if you had a 1200 yard season a year before...great numbers and stats get you recognized...no respect for subpar in this league.

It isn't Chambers, it's our passing game... can't repect the WR with Fiedler throwin the rock. If Boston and Booker can live up to half of their potential, they'll start respecting Chambers

if the o-line steps it up this year don't be suprised to see chambers posting either 100 catches or 1000 yards.

Numbers matter more in Fantasy Football. A good team has about 50 hours to prepare for a team in a given week. I find it hard to believe that they do not devote part of that time to making sure Chambers does not get 100 yards against them this week. I highly doubt they go, "Well he has yet to catch 100 balls in a season. Lets not worry about him."

Booker has lived up to his potential, hes a proven 100 catch wide reciever if you gameplan that way. If he dosn't put up good numbers I'd blame the system first, because he has shown what he can do.

im not so sure what other players think but i do know that alot of times when top wr's are talked about on like monday and sunday night games chambers is mentioned most of the time. i remember one game last year, dont know if it was our game or another teams but the announcers put chambers right up there with owens, moss and others. i personally wouldnt put him up there but thats what they said. announcers usually talk to players throughout the week about things like this so maybe that is what the players think. honestly stats dont always matter. a way to look at is if chambers is in a game would u worry about him the same as owens, moss, harrison, etc.

I know some people dont like IFs and What IFs...but IMO i think last year Chris Chambers was hindered by Ricky's departure...I say 84 easily would've gotten more than a 1000 yards and 12 TD and a PRO BOWL...admit it thats how big #34's presence is....Chris was on the verge of a breakout year last year...he sured tried hard tho his numbers weren't bad...and good point DuPree.

exactly

I spoke with a starting NFL CB about Chambers while I was working on a show in LA. They defintely respect and gameplan for him.

I would rather have teams not notice him. I think he is a
very underrated player but that tends to work in our favor.
