Do not resign Tua

How can anybody talk about the QB or even the OL or the WRs. We gave up 56 freaking points. Unless you expect your offense to get 70 every game, this isn't the time to complain about the QB. Their QB stood back there for 5 seconds every play and found receivers so wide open it was funny. We never stopped them. They were able to take all kinds of chances on D because if it didn't work, Lamar would just drive them for another score.
That first drive showed that Tua and the offense could score easily. But, after that, the Ravens defense adjusted successfully, WRs dropped easy TDs, the o-line was exposed again, Tua made some bad throws and failed to run for some 1st downs that he could have had, and McDaniel's poor playcalling and lack of adjusting kept Miami's offense from scoring enough to win, even after the defense gave up all of those points. IOW, the loss was on the defense AND the offense.

A great QB elevates the entire team. If the team gives up 56 that's 100% on Tua. He needed to have 3-4 drives lasting 10 minutes each to protect the defense.
I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic because you mixed in multiple true statements. A great QB does elevate the entire team and they do have 3-4 drives lasting ten minutes that also ends up protecting a weak defense.

No QB in the draft will produce like Tua- if they did that people like you would be bitching about that QB

No, I do not take that approach. I believe in taking a QB and giving him his window. Rookie contract is 4 years. Obviously if the QB stinks like Pickett for the Steelers who has only 13 TDs in 2 seasons, you have to pull the plug, you cannot have any confidence in giving him more time to screw around. But no, you draft a QB and give him his window.
Tua's window is expiring, the results are yet to be seen.

I don't like how our offense is constructed. Small speedy guys with no variety. 9ers really have the perfect offense. Their receivers are big and can block to boot.
I wouldn't really consider Aiyuk and Deebo as 'big' receivers. They're bigger than Tyreek and Waddle, but it's not like they're AJ Brown or DK Metcalf. Kittle is a beast tho.

Disagree. We just would have been closer. We couldn't stop them. 4th and 7 before the half, easy throw and catch, TD. They scored whenever they wanted

Exactly, this was just like the Buffalo game where they scored at will.
Yep. Exact duplication of that Buffalo game. Offense trying to keep up knowing the defense was going to give up points on every drive

This offensive system is EXTREMELY QB friendly. It does require a cerebral QB however. McDaniel has turned an average, immobile QB from an average, meh guy to a top 10 QB. Imagine what he can do with an actual good QB who ya know, can stand in the pocket for longer than 2.5 seconds.

Imagine having an NFL QB who cannot get hit. WTF? Allen/Hurts/LJ/Mahomes/Burrow are monsters. They can extend plays and put their teams on their backs. Oh and their fans dont cringe when they get tackled (well Burrow maybe ;) )

Tua is what he will always be.. He cannot get hit, he needs to get the ball out in under 2.5 seconds, he cannot escape with his legs, he lacks any mobility, he cannot extend plays, he absolutely shits the bed against top teams. Someone look it up, his record against winning teams is something like 3-12

Sign Russ or Kirk who has balled in the playoffs

If you're a fan of Tua, that's awesome.. Just know, he is not capable of LEADING this team to a super bowl. He needs an opportunistic defense and almost perfect OL play.

The quicker we rip the bandaid off, the better it will be in the long run
hes played with 2nd and 3rd string OL all year so he has not had near perfect OL play, not even close

I used to love Tua. Now I realize if his timings aren't perfect he turns to crap. I'd love a QB like Lamar or Mahomes who can do the off script stuff but those guys are so hard to come by

This site after a loss is the worst- this fanbase is the worst of the NFL.
dude it really has gotten to be terrible ive been on this site a long time almost 15 years and the knee jerk dramatic reactions of people are legitimately at an all time high...i saw a guy before say something about a house cleaning...were 11-5 and in the playoffs back to back years unde4 McD

The whole team is trash. The team is soft. Buffalo will eat us alive next week in our house. They are vastly more physical than us. Everyone has figured out this McDonald’s offense. LBs are just camping in the middle of the field. Everyone knows, Tua is either throwing a BS screen or over the middle. Disrupt his timing, hit Hill before he gets off the line. Everyone has figured it out yet McD can’t figure out how to adjust.
This is it. I cant understand how anyone sees or expects anything but this.
