Do not resign Tua

Ok. Dallas has a good defense and we were without waddle or mostert. The offensive line is also a mess and yes tua missed throws. He is literally completing 70% of his passes..
Would you at least admit that Tua struggles on off script plays and when his first read is taken away? He can’t improvise like other QB’s.

He reads the field fine. It's be pointed out by people who break down film many many times.

Off script... He can struggle yes. He has his limitations unfortunately. The line is a mess and he isn't a runner. He also makes at least one mind numbing mistake a game, but that has been a trend for quarterbacks this year..

We can agree on this. His physical limitations will always be there.

Nobody likes to talk about it? But other than the off the bench moment as a freshman?….he got outplayed in the two biggest games the next two years against Clemson and LSU and faltered at key moments in those games…..

Yea, he needs to put up or shut up ...

Yes, he limited physically. It sucks, but he is a good quarterback and you don't get rid of those for a draft pick.
Maybe not but I wouldn’t be in a hurry to sign him to a huge contract extension this offseason either. I would let him play next year on his 5th year option and then decide what to do long term after next season.

I agree. You can't give him $50 million. I think you give him 2 more years. 5th year and maybe franchise tag to see if he continues to improve.

That I can agree with! Let’s see how he plays next season and then they can always franchise tag him after that if they need to.

Ya they beat the Bills last year but it’s not like they lit up the scoreboard in that game! He shits the bed more often than not in big games! Physical defenses own his ass!
I’d say physical teams own the Dolphins…plain and simple.

Again I already said that in another post and it’s been that way since queasy Joe Philbin was the head coach! The culture hasn’t changed since then no matter who the head coach is!

The offensive line is good when healthy. Are we allergic to good linebackers? My goodness

This offensive system is EXTREMELY QB friendly. It does require a cerebral QB however. McDaniel has turned an average, immobile QB from an average, meh guy to a top 10 QB. Imagine what he can do with an actual good QB who ya know, can stand in the pocket for longer than 2.5 seconds.

Imagine having an NFL QB who cannot get hit. WTF? Allen/Hurts/LJ/Mahomes/Burrow are monsters. They can extend plays and put their teams on their backs. Oh and their fans dont cringe when they get tackled (well Burrow maybe ;) )

Tua is what he will always be.. He cannot get hit, he needs to get the ball out in under 2.5 seconds, he cannot escape with his legs, he lacks any mobility, he cannot extend plays, he absolutely shits the bed against top teams. Someone look it up, his record against winning teams is something like 3-12

Sign Russ or Kirk who has balled in the playoffs

If you're a fan of Tua, that's awesome.. Just know, he is not capable of LEADING this team to a super bowl. He needs an opportunistic defense and almost perfect OL play.

The quicker we rip the bandaid off, the better it will be in the long run
Sign Russ or Kurt.....Please.....No. Just no.
