Do not resign Tua

no, you just think that rogers will magically make them better. How did wilson work out for denver? Or Jimmy G? Or Carr? See how just pulling **** out of your ass and saying something with "historical performances" what ever that means, just magically makes it happen. Rogers is coming back ya'll. Jets are winning the Superbowl!
lmaoooo you sound like an actual child. Great job putting words in my mouth. Do you even watch football? Aaron Rodgers is one of the 5 greatest QBs to ever play the game. He's 10x better than Jimmy G or Carr lmaooo

How did we know the Chiefs were going to be good this year? Oh bc they have Mahomes. We used our brains to contextualize historical performance.

Aaaand you clearly can't read. I never said the Jets were going to the super bowl silly. I said they'd win a few more games.

Is it really that far-fetched to think to yourself, "hmmm, self, having Rodgers instead of Z Wilson will probably net them a better outcome"... Z Wilson is arguably the worst starting QB in the league

Its probably not good but you haven't named a better plan B. I mean c'mon, no one is buying a washed up Wilson that got run out of his two other gigs or a cousins who has a 1-4 playoff record, is 35 coming off an achilles and who made 10M more than tua is set to make next year.
I'd recommend watching Russ's games this year. He was not the problem. They had one of the 5 worst receiving groups and he still put up solid numbers. Their defense was atrocious for the first half of the season.

Kirk is still better than Tua. His numbers are gaudy year after year. He just happens to play with some terrible defenses.

Are these the best qbs in the league. Obviously not. But insert them in McDaniel's QB-friendly system with Hill and Waddle and we would actually have a CONSISTENTLY good offense. Not just a good offense when we're playing the commanders or the chargers of the world.

Sure, you did coming into the season this year also, didn't you. Jets were 7-10 last year, if they lose this week, the Aaron signing, didn't do what you expected.

Actual child huh? Interesting.

Are you implying you didnt think the Chiefs would be a top team bc they have Mahomes? Vegas had them as the SB favorites. Again, historical performance provides us insight into future success

lol is this a joke...
"Jets were 7-10 last year, if they lose this week, the Aaron signing, didn't do what you expected." BC HE DIDNT PLAY jfc

But you knew he played like a lost soul throwing ints in Key moments and not ebing able to play 10% of the level of the opposing QB.

At this point the blind who still want to see Tua as a Great QB will come up with all sort of excuses for his poor play in big games. Heck they will blame the defense for Tua's ints. Lol
He is a good quarterback. Sorry you are lost dude.

So did he allow 56 pts? I never got an answer.

Also he does throw picks, so does every other good quarterback... He has 12 for the year.. so what was your point?

Not able to play 10% clever. Stupid but clever

So, would your stupid ass historical argument wouldn't work huh dumb ass in regards to Rogers; I am not Vegas. Again did the Jets get better? Want to wager they won't hit 7 wins next year, my child ass will bet a grand.

This is probably the dumbest argument I've ever been a part of. I feel dumber for even being a part of this.

Aaron Rodgers was injured and out for the year. lol He had zero impact on his team's performance. My goodness, the amount of intellect you lack is startling

No because teams like Ravens and 49ers are very good and physical. Then there are teams like the Cowboys and Dolphins who are good but not very physical. They rely more on speed. They struggle when they play physical teams.
Physical teams struggle to keep up with speed teams. See I can juggle my meaningless labels too.

I get it. Being a fan by definition is to be enthusiastic about your team/players but my goodness, McDaniel has catered this entire offense to fit Tua's lack of arm strength, mobility, extendability, health concerns, etc. This offense MUST perform in under 2.5 seconds or else we're doomed.

Tua is one of only a handful of QBs who you will never see extend a play with his feet, use creativity, hell... run a damn QB sneak on 3rd/4th and 1... We have the only QB in the history of the NFL who hasn't run a QB sneak for fear of him getting hurt. He slid yesterday after a short run aaaand hurt himself.

This is besides the mental aspect of Tua's game where he underperforms in big-time games:

This year: Eagles, Chiefs, Bills, Ravens,
Last year: 49ers, Bills, LAC
2 Years ago: Bills twice
3 years ago: Bills, Raiders (benched), KC

Best games of his career IMO against big time teams (at the time) where he led his team... Cardinals in '21 (Cardinals finished 8-8 lol and Ravens in '22 when they were decimated with injuries, Ravens finished 10-7)
Against KC he had a very good game in 2021. Against Buffalo, he played well both times last year. He is 2-1 against the chargers with 6 TDs to 1 pick. He struggled against 49ers.

Also, he throws the ball under 2.5 seconds because the line is a mess. Also most quarterbacks dont hold the ball forever.

Get a clue

Considering you are a casual fan at best, this post is rich coming from you

This offensive system is EXTREMELY QB friendly. It does require a cerebral QB however. McDaniel has turned an average, immobile QB from an average, meh guy to a top 10 QB. Imagine what he can do with an actual good QB who ya know, can stand in the pocket for longer than 2.5 seconds.

Imagine having an NFL QB who cannot get hit. WTF? Allen/Hurts/LJ/Mahomes/Burrow are monsters. They can extend plays and put their teams on their backs. Oh and their fans dont cringe when they get tackled (well Burrow maybe ;) )

Tua is what he will always be.. He cannot get hit, he needs to get the ball out in under 2.5 seconds, he cannot escape with his legs, he lacks any mobility, he cannot extend plays, he absolutely shits the bed against top teams. Someone look it up, his record against winning teams is something like 3-12

Sign Russ or Kirk who has balled in the playoffs

If you're a fan of Tua, that's awesome.. Just know, he is not capable of LEADING this team to a super bowl. He needs an opportunistic defense and almost perfect OL play.

The quicker we rip the bandaid off, the better it will be in the long run
Lol don't resign the best quarterback in the history of the Dolphins. Buddy wake up. He has a 65% win % since we drafted him, oh and without Tyreek it's still 65%. Better win% than Marino had even in his prime. He's also the 5th most winning QB % wise out of all the qbs in the NFL. You people are so friggen stooooopid that 2+2 don't know wtf it is. He is 100% HOF material. Quarterback friendly offense? Are you ****ing kidding!!!! That is the most difficult nuanced offense in the NFL. So much so other teams take our plays and can't run them. There isn't another QB in the NFL RIGHT ****ING NOW that could make the reads and get the ball out as fast and accurately as Tua. Cold stone ****ing sniper. Go back to your parents basement and stay there.

Ok, fair enough, I offer a wager of a grand that he does not get 7 wins next year with the Jets.

I would not resign him. He has not done sht on rookie contract.
Id draft another QB. It's cheaper.
Ya a 65% win rate since his rookie year and 5th best in the current NFL quarterbacks. Idiots. Go back to the hole you crawled out of.
