Do not resign Tua

Lol don't resign the best quarterback in the history of the Dolphins. Buddy wake up. He has a 65% win % since we drafted him, oh and without Tyreek it's still 65%. Better win% than Marino had even in his prime. He's also the 5th most winning QB % wise out of all the qbs in the NFL. You people are so friggen stooooopid that 2+2 don't know wtf it is. He is 100% HOF material. Quarterback friendly offense? Are you ****ing kidding!!!! That is the most difficult nuanced offense in the NFL. So much so other teams take our plays and can't run them. There isn't another QB in the NFL RIGHT ****ING NOW that could make the reads and get the ball out as fast and accurately as Tua. Cold stone ****ing sniper. Go back to your parents basement and stay there.
lmaooooo You're saying this as if being the 2nd best Dolphins QB actually means something. Dolphins historically have had the worst QBs in NFL history.

"HOF material" - Tua!? The guy who can't run a QB sneak? the guy who can't escape the pocket more than maybe 3 or 4 times in a season while we see guys week after week do it on a consistent basis. The guy who MUST throw the ball in under 2.5 seconds bc of the aforementioned inability to escape the pocket.

"The most difficult nuanced offense in the NFL"... that Brock Purdy is destroying teams in lol

I've now asked this a bunch of times to Tuanons and this is where I never ever get an answer... so I'll kindly ask you the same question..

What is Tua's all-time record versus winning teams?

I'd recommend watching Russ's games this year. He was not the problem. They had one of the 5 worst receiving groups and he still put up solid numbers. Their defense was atrocious for the first half of the season.

Kirk is still better than Tua. His numbers are gaudy year after year. He just happens to play with some terrible defenses.

Are these the best qbs in the league. Obviously not. But insert them in McDaniel's QB-friendly system with Hill and Waddle and we would actually have a CONSISTENTLY good offense. Not just a good offense when we're playing the commanders or the chargers of the world.
If his numbers are solid, then what are Tua's? So you want to bring in a qb that has worse numbers, that's 10 years older, has been run out of the last 2 places he's been and ain't gonna be any cheaper?

As far as cousins, he's still 35 coming off an achilles and would cost us 10M more. You think he's gonna get healthier? I can just see him getting injured next year and we're all just banging our heads against the wall asking who's bright idea it was to bring in a 36 year old (by start of next season) qb and think he was gonna hold up. And not to mention, he's already made it crystal clear he has no desire to leave minnesota.

These aren't long term moves. If you're lucky and that's a big IF, you're getting a season or two out of these guys and that's really best, best case scenario. Tua has a much higher ceiling and is a long term option. He's only gotten better.

whats his record vs winning teams? i'll wait
Oh my God I'm to stupid to look it up for myself so I'll just jump on the media narrative. He's beat plenty of winning teams that wasn't even a narrative until this year . Also your schedule is your schedule.

A 36 year old QB in 2024 is nothing too crazy. We currently have a QB who has gotten hurt every year of his professional and collegiate career.... who just got hurt sliding... on his own... who cant run a QB sneak in fear of hurting himself.

Looking at stats vs another guys stats is silly. How do these players play in big time games is all that matters and we know, objectively, without debate.. Tua, in big time games is bad. Bottom line, he stinks. He'll never lead a team on his back (to be fair, he did it twice in his career .. cardinals and ravens last year... both middle of the pack teams)

Physical teams struggle to keep up with speed teams. See I can juggle my meaningless labels too.
Ya but when physical teams knock speed teams in the mouth they into little bitches more often than not!

You have to resign Tua. But he has got to go back to his 2022 playing weight. He is so slow now and it hurts the offenses ability to get in the EZ. He wins games. He’s crazy good at throwing the ball, his ball fakes are terrific. He’s slow as **** this year and it’s a problem. Lose some weight for 2024

If Tua has two more bad games, then you can talk about it. We are still signing him. If he sucks, offer Daniel Jones money. If he plays 3 or 4 good games he will get Burrow type money.

no, thats just it.. He hasn't beaten "plenty of winning teams"... this is objectively false. I'm sorry.

If you wanna debate Tua, I'm all in but you gotta be honest with yourself. He shits the bed against winning teams.

thats an interesting take. I tend to lean the other way, I liked that he bulked up in the offseason.

agreed. if Tua balls out and gets us a playoff win (just one is all I'm asking for).. then fine, give him some DJ money but he's not touching Burrow money.. He's a long-term injury risk every time he steps back to pass.
