Do not resign Tua

Serious question.. Why are you in such denial? You KNOW Tua performs below average against good teams.. why not admit it? I know, it ****ing sucks. We all want the same goal. **** a Super Bow, a damn playoff win.. but with Tua, we're not going to get that... (unless we play the steelers or colts in my opinion)
Let me ask you a question: why are you this causal a fan? Isn't there a football for dummies book out there?

He has the same average pocket time as a lot of the quarterbacks you mentioned.... You are clueless
Okay ready.... When the pocket breaks down for Tua versus when the pocket breaks down for Mahomes, Allen, Herbert, Burrow, Stroud (he's been imprressive as hell with a collapsing pocket)... don't you notice a difference?

Oh no... You actually validated my point silly. McDaniel has severely catered this team to a limited QB. Thanks
So... If Tua's stats are actually better when he throws the ball after 2.5 seconds, why would he have him throw under 2.5 seconds most of the time?

Sorry, I don't know wtf "causal fan" means
It's means that you surface level understanding of the game. Like you didn't know that the average pocket time for tua is similar to basically all other quarterbacks

Come on, you know the answer to this lol Tua cannot get hit. The franchise is absolutely terrified with the idea of Tua getting hit. Tua is too slow to extend plays outside the pocket on his own... something all the great modern QBs do.

The average pocket time is around what Tua has...

He plays generally much worse against good teams than bad teams. Franchise QBs play great regardless with the occasional headscratcher. Not hard to figure out why that is
I would suggest it’s partially because when he’s playing bad teams, he has the anticipation to get the ball out early and still make plays.

When he’s playing better teams, with better defences, it’s much harder to get the ball out as quickly and make plays.

This is also why some people think of him as a one read QB. Hard to get to reads two and three if two defenders are draped all over your body. Even harder to throw an accurate pass in that situation.

Oh I know the game very well, my question is, do you?

I'll ask you a question now.. Do you believe in your heart of hearts Tua can "will" the Dolphins to a victory Sunday night? As in Tua leading the team, not just being a game manager

lmaoo this is why stats are sooooo stupid

You mean to tell me you'd rather have Tua post 2.5 seconds over Mahomes?! Mahomes, extending plays is literally what makes him so damn great. Jeez, you all need to actually watch the games
