Do not resign Tua

Ya because asking Duke Riley to cover Justin out of the backfield doesn't deserve criticism...that's tuas fault. Your on point bro please keep posting.
Our defense ****ing sucks in big time games. I'm not denying that but Dolphins offense scored 20 points vs the Bills, 17 vs the Eagles, and 19 vs the Ravens. The Ravens game, I will say, did look really encouraging to start... until the inevitable Tua pick at the worst possible moment. It's also, part of his MO sadly.

Because one refuses to change said opinions when proven false?
So Tua is capable of beating premiere teams... Got it.. In what world?

Tua is capable of extending plays with his legs?

Tua is capable of performing a QB sneak?

Tua doesn't go into total freak out mode when the pocket collapses (he did have a ****ing BEAAUTIFUL maneuver in the pocket in his own goal line vs the cowboys when he hit waddle for the bomb.. Major props)

Tua is playing the wrong era. He's a 90s statue-esque QB playing in 2024 when a QBs legs are almost as valuable as his arm

QBs that can take a hit, extend plays, get creative are all traits the great ones in 2024 have - and most, if not all are better than Tua

Mahomes (better)
LJ (better)
Hurts (better)
Allen (better)
Burrow (better)
Herbert (neutral)
Dak (better)
Stroud (better)
Russ (better)
Fields (worse)
Lawrence (neutral)

The league is just so different now. Even if you look at some of the more recent Super Bowl winning QB's who you wouldn't necessarily call mobile still had a fair amount of mobility to them. Stafford, Folk, Flacco, hell even Eli Manning... I wouldn't consider any of them running QB's but they still had a certain amount of elusiveness to them and could improvise and make plays on the run. Brady and Manning really are the only ones that buck that trend but those are also probably 2 of the greatest pocket passes in NFL history. Being able to improvise when the pocket breaks down is just such an important aspect of today's game.

I mean the 49ers, our best comp (offensively speaking) have MR irrelevant running the show.. Look in the draft... to a guy who can take a hit, run a qb sneak for gods sake, move with his legs... This offense is extremely QB friendly, just need a cerebral type guy. I just want a QB who doesnt freak the **** out when the pocket collapse. I want a QB who can get OUTSIDE the pocket for once and make a play. Tua will never be that guy and the great teams know that :(
1. Just bc he was Mr irrelevant doesn't mean he's a system QB. Like Tua, I'd say Purdy is also better than any QB we've had since Marino.

2. You're probably used to not getting what you want by now, but I'm guessing Tua is much better than what you usually end up with. :(

Well Tua's still young enough (25?) That saying he will never be able to be that guy is still a little premature...in a few years time though if it continues...yeah I'd tend to agree...but not yet...however bringing in competition? YES. Ive argued this point before with people about Henne and Tannehill etc. and gotten blasted for it for whatever reason...I say if the guy has the mental tools to succeed then you don't need to coddle him like a 5 year old. Every position on the roster gets depth signings and competition, the QB position isn't exclusive (unless the guys a bonified HOF guy and even then Coaches like Shula usually weren't content...although the Scott Secules years were like hmmm 😂). The only positions you may not waste your time on if you have decent guys already are kicker and punter...even then if they cost a lot...bring on the competition.

1. Purdy is 100% a system QB. Put Purdy on the Falcons and he's Tyler Heinecke
He was just an average college QB

2. I dont know what you're referring to. What I end up with? Que? Tua's an okay QB. Awesome dude and I wish him nothing but the best, but it would suck to know he's our QB for the next 2-3 years. It'll be the same thing. Destroy bad teams, lose to good teams.

And wtf did Mr irrelevant do in Baltimore last week? 4 friggen picks. Our guys dropped 2 touchdowns. Thats 33 points. 33 isn't enough to win? That's the Tuas fault? Seriously. Dude give the man a ****ing chance. Its not even really his 3rd year as the starter with the **** Flores put him through which woulda crushed any one else mentally. We do not run THE San Fran offense. That offense is 100% run first because of the talent on their team. Best oline in the NFL, best D in the NFL, stud receivers , stud TE , stud RB. ****ing grappalo would have the same record as purdy if not better and he sucks. We the run a much much more nuanced version that is pass first due to our "talent composition " Purdy wouldnt have 5 wins on this team. That's a fact. Pocket passers don't get outside the pocket either they climb it. If Tua broke outside the pocket he'd get murdered because our oline is expecting him to step up into the pocket. Thats not on him that's 100% on McDaniels. Tua can run, he's not slow. There isn't one play in our book with a roll out. **** I've screamed 4 it. It would shock the other team like the 85 bears. What did Dan just roll out wtf....what do we do omg. **** ain't on Tua yall are nuts.

Yeah, but we gave up 48, 31 and 56 points in those losses.

With a better defensive effort, we at least have a fighting chance of winning those games based on what our offence could’ve done. It’s crazy to expect your QB to lead your team to score 49, 32 or 57 points on the road to beat those teams. Ain’t happening. Those losses were on the d, not Tua.

Our D **** the bed like a high school JV team and there's a thread with 38 pages blaming the QB.
Equally as ironic is there is also a thread trashing fangio, a mere week after he was being highly praised.

Only on Finheaven...

Competition breeds success yes. That's not where we need it though. No way I'm spending capital on a qb in the draft when we need so many other positions right now.

wait what? that's not how math works lol.. you added the touchdown drop and the fg we made.

Most teams dont have plays with a "Rollout".. i"m refering to when the play breaks down and no one is open, pocket is collapsing... the great one FIND WAYS to extend plays, roll out, juke dlinemen, do whatever the **** they have to do to keep the play alive.. Those players are special and at times, unstoppable. Tua is not that guy. Tua is a system guy. Play within the system. Play breaks down, take a sack, throw it away, throw a pick, and a very, very, very occasional run

quick how many points did Tua score against the Bills? Eagles? Chiefs? Ravens?

Okay lets go 1 by 1

Herbert is not a good QB. He looks the part, tall, athletic, but he has zero anticipation. Tua IMO is better than Herbert. Tua's greatest strength anticipation is Herbert's biggest weakness. Combine the two and you'd have the greatest QB of all time lol

Stafford in Detroit - took the worst run franchise ( when barry sanders and calvin johnson are retiring early, you know you done ****ed up as a franchise) to 3 playoffs. Won a superbowl when he went to a real franchise. 7 total playoff games.

Rivers if 5-7 all time in the playoffs. 12 total playoff games.

Rodgers won a super bowl. Rodgers is 12-10 in the playoffs. 22 playoff games.

Allen is 4-4 in the playoffs. 8 playoff games.

Mahomes is so good, I'm not even going to entertain that one lol

Here, let's just ask a controversial question and we can end it with this bc we'll know where we stand..

Take your Dolphins glasses off for a second

Allen or Tua, who would you want as your QB for the next 10+ years?

You’re a dunce cap. That’s all there is to it.

“Hebert has zero anticipation” lmao
